I'd be in for next year too Nyk...whats the plan??
I need to sort out my Emergency Fund next year, so it would definately come in handy for me!0 -
Yeah I'd definitely be up for continuing this challenge next year. It basically works out to be £10 per day doesn't it so that would be £3650 but maybe we could up it to £4000 just for a bit more of a challenge and slao then for those doing the live on £4000 for a year challenge anyone that hit the £4000 mark would have 2010 all sorted a year in advance! Something to think about anyway...0

I've just checked my account and there's £7.84 arrived from topcashback. I've claimed my free scratchcard (got the minimum 10p) and advert 8 has tracked for my gumtree activities
Now packing another box of books to list that later this afternoon as I seem to have better luck selling through free ads than I do in the online auctions.
Can we keep 'playing this game' for next year?Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

My ultimate aim is to become financially self-sufficient rather than rely on my basic earnings, as I would rather save these towards buying a house and then living as self-sufficientish as possible. Actual self-sufficiency is practically impossible because there are things that we cannot avoid paying, like Council Tax, National Insurance, utilities etc, etc, etc... So, my ultimate goal is to become money neutral WITHOUT relying on actual income.
The £10 per day challenge is no good for me because I know that I can't guarantee to bring in an extra £10 every single day, I find it easier to earn in dribs and drabs that can accumulate without the pressure of a daily target, hence the £1000 in 100 days effort. Next year, I would love to live on £4000 and earn £4000 extra for the entire year, which would mean that I had achieved my money neutral status - financial self-sufficiency without even touching the wages/salaryI reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

After reading the many posts about it on here I've now joined dooyoo and am going to try and write 3-4 reviews a day to make 50,000 points per month = £50 cash - which will be a nice addition to my pot0

Yeah I keep reading the MB threads and they slowly make sense then I forget about it for a few months and completely forget it all
Another read is in store I think!! I'm to scared to join up for half the free bingo/scratchcard sign ups in case the are part of a betting company that I could use for MBing
tell me about it! i can't join coral because i'm a member of gala bingo and it's all the same company! there was another one that i couldn't join for the same reason, but i've forgotten who it was now. if only i'd known about matched betting *before* i started bingo! although, to be fair, i think the coral offer at the moment is only £10, and i made £35 profit on gala bingo, so i haven't really lost anything.0 -
Did anyone else join King Jackpot via cashback? I just got email saying there are free games tonight once an hour between 6pm and midnight. Good luck to anyone who gives it a go, I'll be there to try and win a free £15I reserve the right not to spend.

Hi guys, I just got another email from gumtree ads, looks like I've sold a mixed box of books etc, hopefully get them away by the weekend and have another £20 to add, not counting my chickens, though. Still, it's given me the boost to keep packing boxes and listing the stuff
Ad 9 will be posted just as soon as I make a list of the book titles

Hi everyone, made a total of £5.57 today - £2.75 on tesco vouchers and £2.82 as my 10% cut from my mum's stuff that I sold on ebay. Also signed up to p!inecone research and dooyoo so will hopefully make a bit extra on that. Withdrew my winnings from foxy bingo (about £9 profit I think) so will add that once its in my bank account. Thanks to nykmedia for the post about king jackpot, will go and sign up for that and see if I can make some more cash0
