Well I have to say I love logging in and finding loads of new posts - everyone has done so well on the weekend - unfortunately I spent all of yesterday with a major hangover after the James Bond party on Saturday night - I ONLY had 4 glasses of wine over a 7 hour period but I had the worst hangover ever yesterday I think this is because I have not drunk hardly anything since falling pregnant for DS in Feb 2007! Clearly my usual role as designated driver drinking red bull only is where I should remain!
On a happier note woke up to an email from an old student of mine saying he wants 2 hours of teaching every week, and 1 hour of proofreading, from November 1st which will be £60 per week which will really help my total. He has deposited two weeks in advance into my account so a fab £120 to add to my total - I'm now at £390.
Am now off to try and find some of the free scratchcard sites everyone is talking about...0 -
Did an extra shift on Saturday night so £16.60 in tips over the weekend, saved 9.08 on 3 for 2 in Boots, got a free No17 lipstick and double points.
Received a cheque this morning from parents for £25.00 for birthday on Friday, will spend the money at the knitting and stitching show at Ally Pally on Saturday. Normally go rooting through all the bargain buckets first, then slowly do the rest of the stands at a more leisurely pace. Always take a packed lunch as well, as refuse to pay exhibition prices for food.
Swapped two more books on readitswapit and sending my Avon order of today, so will have commission to add on Friday.Married 19th May 2011 to the love of my lifeCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44CSC Challenge - to complete LEGS by end of December

Have been so busy with all my online sales, 12 things sold in the last 2 days lol, crazy, , people pay crazy amounts for somethings...
Going to have a quiet time the rest of the week though, as have been away and haven't listed anything new yet...

Afternoon everyone
.
I'm debating listing some stuff on ebay. I closed my shop a few months ago because of their stupid policies and fee increases, but I have to admit it was a good source of income so I'm a bit torn. I can't believe ho whigh the fees are now!
In better news I got a £5 voucher from just the answer today so I can add that to my total, and I've started writing dooyoo reviews. I'm hoping that if I'm able to write two per day I'll be able to get a £50 cheque each month, and I kind of enjoy writing them. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
Hi all :hello:
By some miracle I'm now at £108.59 :j including this mornings money! Quidco paid me £20.13 and I got a £5 Amazon voucher (which will be swapped for cash from my Xmas/Birthday savings)... Now if I could have another few mornings like this that'd be great :rotfl:
I've got a few survey sites slowly accruing points -
site 1) waiting for a £10 voucher to arrive and should hit enough for another £10 voucher in a couple of weeks (just waiting for points to credit)
site 2) Started a strange survey for ~£13 which will take about 6-8 wks to do - I have to log onto a website to order (or not) a grocery item when I normally do over this time period.Should also have enough points in a week or so to order a £5 amazon voucher too.
Nothing else is close to paying out so I'm kind of stuck!! I'm so going to have to get over my ebay fear if I'm ever to meet this challenge. That and I need to get my head round MB'ing too... :eek:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

i would definitely recommend figuring out matched betting! i gave it a go for the first time over the weekend and made myself £7.56 (from a £10 free bet) and i've already joined a second site and have a £25 free bet which i plan to make use of tonight.
i probably could have made more of a profit on my first go, but i'm just glad i didn't mess it up! i'm hoping to make a few hundred pounds between now and christmas. i reckon matched betting is the only way i'll get anywhere close to reaching my £1000 target!0 -
Afternoon all...
I've updated my signature...had a quidco payment and some other stuff that came in. Its looking very healthy and I'm very pleased.
I've still got a £140 invoice to send out. No MS jobs available. I have got my 10p scratchcard money, though. I really should take a look at the others.0 -

Been debating doing matched betting for a while but after reading your posts I think I'll defintiely give it a go. It seems so complicated but I'm sure if I take the time to read over the threads on here, I'll get the hang of it!!!0 -
Yeah I keep reading the MB threads and they slowly make sense then I forget about it for a few months and completely forget it all
Another read is in store I think!! I'm to scared to join up for half the free bingo/scratchcard sign ups in case the are part of a betting company that I could use for MBing

I've just checked my account and there's £7.84 arrived from topcashback. I've claimed my free scratchcard (got the minimum 10p) and advert 8 has tracked for my gumtree activities
Now packing another box of books to list that later this afternoon as I seem to have better luck selling through free ads than I do in the online auctions.
