Well i was quite surprised this morning as i paid the extra 2 quid for courier delivery and a standby saver plug thingy.....
Well its arrived..... No not the owl monitor just the standby plug !
Strange thing is my cheque still hasnt been cashed, so this leaves me wondering whats going on.

Any chance this isn't the Standby Saver from the Mail/Owl offer ?
Did you ALSO send away for the free Standby Saver that was on offer courtesy of The People ?
I think it was exactly the same device since it was also from British Gas.
They did the promotion twice - first for 50,000 units and then a week or two later did it again for another 20,000.
No tokens etc. required - just fill in a coupon and send it off to a FREEPOST address.

I also paid the extra, but not got an Owl yet. Definately the Daily Mail offer I applied for.0 -
