Hi all,not posted for a couple of days-DH and I had a run up to the Lakes yesterday.I got my shallow remoska pan from Lakeland, and a few other bits, then we had our lunch upstairs, only soup and sandwich, but very nice.We had a walk round Ambleside-the weather really perked up so we had a nice day.Mind you,its been even better today,I've been doing some work in the garden.
Just about to get tea on,turkey curry(from a slow-cooked leg.)
DH will be out tonight so I might get on with making more Xmas cards.
Congrats on your degree Jannyannie. You must have worked so hard.
((( hugs to those who need them)))

Congrats to JannyAnnie.
Thanks for the info about the weight of the paper, I got someone to weigh a box & they said about the same weight. I've been looking for info about maximum lift weight for women & it looks like it's about 10 kg, so it's well over that, I'm gradually composing a list of problems to approach my boss with. Today I only got 10 mins lunch break as I was needed for First Aid, I hate it when that happens as it means I'm on my feet all day from 7:30 til 4:00, but I couldn't ignore a child in need.
Have a good evening everyone, sorry for whinging.
Hugs Hester

Squiggly thank you for the well wishes for the fashion show. It went well I think. Everyone was really nervous, but we pulled together and got through it. And it was all for charity so it was worth it. Not sure what the total raised was yet though.
Had a lovely snooze this afternoon, think it was well deserved after the manic week I've had so far. Nothing like getting right back into things when you return from holiday! Still tomorrow should be a bit slower, and today was relaxed.
Hoping to order some jewellery stuff later so I can start making some to sell. Mum's also interested in making cards, so that will be good.
Got lamb hearts for dinner, and the smell of the cooking is driving me mad.
Done all my daily clicks and surveys:T First time in ages I've looked at them.
Things are returning to normal.
Hope everyone's ok

Kathy and Diva thanks for your good wishes for OH yesterday, he is so relieved hes like a new man today, theres no stopping him, I have tried but to no avail..... he has been going round the house doing all the things that have been waiting to be done for ages, hes put the new mirror up in the bathroom,(and cleaned the mess up himself, I was so shocked I had to sit down) changing tap washers, putting stuff in the loft (tidily I might add) sorting his stuff out in the shed, the only time he has stopped is when I have fed him :rotfl:

Hi everyone
Didn't manage to post yesterday as was soooooooo tired when I got in, going from 6 months off to working 9 - 5.30 was an eyeopener :rotfl:
Beth - I know you can't slow down, some people are made that way
, but please take care xx
Dogrose - I was thinking about my savings account, it started as Lewes BS, then I think it was Sussex Counties, then leeds, then halifax, I do still have an old passbook from Lewes BS complete with little gold picture of the castle on it :rotfl:oh and £1.00 in it.
Pen-Pen - am envious of what you have done in the garden, we rent and our LL is lovely but think he may have had probs with people and gardens before, his solution is cover everything in pebbles, sometimes it makes me sad as it reminds me of the seaside! I do have lots of pots though, and next year am going to grow veg in pots.
Congrats Jannyannie
Moiliere - article in our local this week, woman went into labour early, 22 and it was her 5th. Makes your Jordan lookeelikeee very modest in her production

Happy birthday to Sam

Am really sorry to anyone who I have missed, please have a (((hug))) it wasn't intentional xxxx
Work is going ok, wasn't sure yesterday when I found there wasn't a computer for me, but one is on order
, got to play around on a pc today that runs a special programme and found out how to do a report they wanted
, not sure if its brownie points for me, or 'look at the new woman showing off' :rotfl:
Tea tonight is cheese, potato and onion pie, just waiting for OH to ring to say he is on his way as prepared it this morning and just need to do topping and shove in the oven.
