£1 a day upto Christmas

Apologies if this is in the wrong section or somebody has already started a similar thread.

Today (17th September) is 100 days to Christmas. This gave me an idea. If we put one pound a day away then by Christmas day we would have £100.
£100 to treat yourself in the January Sales or pay off an extra £100 on your Credit card bills. Of course if £1 a day is too much then there is no reason why you cannot save 50p a day or whatever you want to.
Alternatively you could start next Wednesday (24th) and make it £100 to New Years Day.

I did think about calling it £100 for Christmas but people could start next Wednesday (24th) and then save for New years day. Plus also if people cannot afford to save £1 a day then 50p a day is fine.
If somebody could move the thread to the correct board It would be very much appreciated.
