Wow I never knew this would be so popular. Thanks you guys for going along with this.
I suppose £1 a day saved up over time is better than £100 taken off a credit/debit card in one go.
  • Not sure if this is helpful to anyone but I worked out that just doing all 4 daily cashback links on We Promise To, we could all earn £14 by Dec 1st (approx. last payout before Christmas!). So anyone who is already a member and has £6 (minimum payout is £20), or wants to join and could make £6 by then should give it a go! You can find the Daily Cashback here: http://www.wepromiseto.co.uk/Daily_Cashback

If anyone needs referring to We Promise To, let me know! (Sorry if that's not allowed, I can delete this part of the message if it's against the rules).
£100 for Christmas challenge: £3/£100 so far! :o
  • Ooh id like to join too :) Will be fab to have £100 to spend in the sales :) Will do it by putting away any money i save on the weekly shop, pennies lying around etc :) Hope I can do it :)

and in 101 days Christmas will be as far away as ever

My Grandma always says that when we're sat around eating left over chocolates and watching dull tv on boxing day ;)

I've given up the £10 a day challenge, so I'll take this one up instead!!
  • What a good idea, I will find a nice money pot to put my pound in.
  • Great idea- Im in too. My pig is ready and labelled. Hopefully if I leave it in kitchen my hubby and boys might contribute as well lol.

    Thanks Andrew

I'm £2 a head of myself! not much chance of a spare £1 over the weekend so I've topped up.

I haven't posted here for aaaages (been a lurker, as you can tell!) but this has inspired me! I've been routing around in our 'spare change tin' for Euros and found £3 in silver sterling! I'll keep this quiet (if I can- I am useless at surprises!!) and I'l try to extend it to Jan 28th- its our 3rd anniversary and we're off to Oxford on the 30th so that gives us a fair bit to spend at Bicester!

    Good luck everyone!

  • Count me in too

For the first time ever me, dh, dd, ds, mum and step dad are going out for christmas dinner.

After the deposit paid and my dads discount card there will be £160 left to pay so this will be a great help. Will suggest to dh that we both put in £1 a day ;)
