I will be going on the 11th of May probably, so excited.

I just saw a holiday all inclusive in cuba for 500 quid, so tempting!

    Hey All,

Just to stay have just had an email from travelodge apparently there are rooms for £9 between 27th August and 30th November. Does not say where though.

Oooh, wendz that is tempting! We're having a holiday dilemma at the moment. We really want to go to the Dominican Republic and I've got a week booked off in June, I don't have enough holiday days left to book another week off so we'll only be able to go for 8-9 nights. I get my new holiday allowance in August (for some reason the year runs Aug-Jul, no idea why, it's a right pain!) so we could have 2 weeks in September when the kids are back at school. We really want to get away in June as OH is going stir crazy at home and wants something to look forward to, but as he's got his operation next week and his recovery time is something like 3 months he's concerned that he isn't going to be able to do everything he wants to do. If we go in September we will have longer but it looks like it'll cost about £150 each more, unless we get lucky and the price drops just before! And if we go in September, OH still wants to do something before then... argh!

I'd love to go to Cuba, before it gets spoilt. Might have to go on next years hit list. Although NIM and I are VERY tempted by one of those imaginative traveller trips to Japan.... we'll have to see.

Cinny mentioned the travelodge sale yesterday, I got 2 night in Edinburgh at £19 each and it has free parking, so very chuffed with that. Also got 2 nights in Birmingham for the Good Food Show and Cadburys World in November, but they were expensive, a whole £35 a night!

Dinahs a right show off :D I got up at 5:30 for it and didn't get a thing! Well, £32 hotel for London but I think that's standard price.

A holiday in Japan would be amazing Dinah! Had to look up the imaginative traveller thingy and they look so tempting.

Decided to have a walk into town when I get home today, treating myself to some new make up and nail varnish! Will be good and go on Darcy - less likely to window shop as I'm worried someone will steal his basket so I won't faff about.

I'd love to go to Japan. I'd like to travel all around asia actually (well, the 'orient' part IYKWIM!). OH has seen too many action movies and is scared of being kidnapped by ninjas though!
