LOL@ Cinny! You should drink Lilt at your wedding! On my first date with OH I went round to his with a rubbish Zombie film (Boy Eats Girl; so bad it's good, starring Samantha Mumba!) and we cuddled on the sofa, we were very comfortable with each other from day one! I had to make the first move though as he still wasn't sure if I fancied him! Silly boy!
Good luck getting your Blur tickets Tete!

An intimate gig with Rammstein?! Scary thought!!! Nah I think what they mean in this case is that it's just not in an arena - it's at the Academy which holds about 1500, but still, smallish!

ETA, mine and OH's first date was a walk along the seafront in November so it was freezing, stopped for a hot choc then walked back and sat with fish and chips in the car til it went dark, it was lovely :)

My first date with OH was actually a 'date weekend'. As we met through friends and i lived so far away, i went up for the weekend. I think he took me shopping and then our for dinner, cant really remember that far back though. Cant believe its been four years!!! Makes me feel old and im only 20!!

ETA thinking about it a date weekend is definatly more awkward than a date night!! Waiting to see whos going to make the first move and what the sleeping arrangements are :rotfl:

Ah no, I love Lilt! Not sure about the zombie movie though!! Date weekend sounds good Flower as long as you like him, can you imagine if you got there and weren't keen and had to stay the whole weekend!

I'm so proud of my little MSE boyfriend, he's just emailed me to say he's found a discount code off an OS map of the lakes he wants to buy :D

If it were me I'd have gone for the cheapest non-transferable train ticket and would have been stuck!

Hmm, sometimes being MSE doesn't always work out for the best!

I wish my OH was a little more MSE, he never shops around for the best price of things and gets ripped off left, right and centre. He bought me a sat nav last year and paid about £30 more than he should have, not including possible cash back, I was so upset for him! The year before it was a DS (he knows not to buy me gadgets anymore, I've got everything now and I've got more chargers than I know what to do with!). At least with this holiday he is shopping around, I'd go madder than mad if he just walked into the travel agents and paid £200 more than he needs to!

He needs training Birdie!! I have started to train OH with shopping around and cashback, but unfortunatly hes not quite grasping the idea, he seems to think that if he saves £20 on something, then he should spend on something else like clothes or takeaways!!
