Watching Kirsty on C4 now, I want to throw my own pot! Oooh, Kath Kidston! Oooh, and Kirsty's got Louboutins on! Jealous!
Was not impressed by Caths kitchen, I was expecting country chic, or Victorian with a twist but we just got a moben kitchen *huff* I spent most of the show envying Kirsties clothes if I'm honest!
Wendz - Zante is lovely, have you been before? You'll be able to get a great late deal!
Poddle £9 for a manicure is great! Loved how you put it in small print too!
Best get moving! All the house work to do again today, plus the ironing if I actually want to wear clothes too.
Ohh, forgot to say Travelodge are going a £9 room sale next Thursday, going to get my national trust books out later and find somewhere to go!0 -

Did someone say something yesterday about money for referring people to some savings account or whatnot???? (specific today aren't I?!) I remember seeing a post and thinking, 'Oooh, money! I could use that!' and forgetting to do anything about it!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. No haven't been there before Cinny but went to Crete last year. Glad to hear it is really nice, hope my card comes today or tomorrow so I can book!0

Was looking last night at what NIM and I could get on the 'cheap as we can but at least 3*' budget for another 2 weeks away in September. Glad to hear Zante is nice as it was basically Zante, Crete, Rhodes or Turkey, 3* all inclusive for 2 weeks for about £400. Sure your trip will be somewhere nicer than my budget busters Wendz, I'm just after another 2 weeks in the sun somewhere I've never been before! Keen to go all inclusive if we are on a package deal next time, since while the food won't be great, we won't end up spending the bones of £700 on it! However the more expensive option (need to win some money from somewhere so can do lots of holidays!) is 5 nights in New York, which seems to be coming in at about £560 for a 4* but flying from Manchester. Would obviously cost a lot more once we were there too but I've been dying to go for so long.... hmmm decisions decisions.
Gotta admit I was dissapointed with both kitchens, I do think the whole 'commercial kitsch' thing has been overdone in recent years, but neither of them had any huge degree of originality. Liked the corner cupboard though.
Will have to try to remember the Travelodge sale, any idea what time it starts Cinny?!

6pm I think Dinah! I think it applys to all the travelodges so I'm going to be cheeky and pre-find ones I want to go too to make it easier booking!
Zante was nice, but we went for two weeks and were running out of things to do after the first! Was a stunning place though, i remember people being really friendly, apart from one chap who stole my pringles to feed the fish on a boat ride *tuts* It must be 8 years since I went, but we still have running family jokes from it. I'd love to go back!
Birdie, I think it was the ING saver? there's a link to it in Martins email!
Throwing a huff because I got up super early to get all the housework done before OH gets here and I got a text at 10 saying 'just woke up, be there at eleven' boys!0 -
Last night OH was looking at holidays to the Dominican Republic for June. We've got our hearts set on The Club Riu Mambo, (http://www.thomson.co.uk/destinations/caribbean/dominican-republic/puerto-plata-region/bahia-maimon/hotels/clubhotel-riu-mambo.html) our friend's parents stayed there last year and said it was amazing. We're really hoping that the prices drop nearer to the time as last night it was coming up as about £700 each for 10 days! We justified it though because it is all inclusive and it's not a 'shoppy' holiday so we won't be spending anything else, normally we spend about £600 each on holiday due to food and extras and that's just staying in some grot hole in Turkey!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Good idea on pre-finding the travelodges Cinny.
A lot of people have got a code through from ING, refer a friend and both get £25, but I haven't... think we might need to call them!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That hotel looks lovely, and you get a swan on your bed! Made out of one massive napkin maybe?
I got a new card in the post today, and a new pin yesterday. I don't have a clue what bank account it links too! Will have to make a trip to the cash machine in attempt to figure it out! I try to be good with money and bank accounts then this happens and I'm completely thrown... It's a very pretty card though.0
