It does; we weren't all inclusive last year, will be our first time this year, if I can convince him to part with his money!

Well... I just got offered that job I went for... big whoop for me being great! BUT... the numbers he gave me were before tax which would leave me £170 short every month! And because my job is now safe I won't get a redundancy payout so I definitely won't be better off at all. I'm staying put! He didn't seem too impressed but I can hardly be expected to drop that much money for no promise of great career prospects!

But still - huge congrats on being the best person for the job and wowing the socks off them!

Been browsing this site www.imaginative-traveller.com the last few hours, some of those trips look so amazing, and there are LOADS under £500 for 10-16 days too! NIM might be about to come under holiday pressure from a whole new direction.

Oooh, the trips look good! Will have to have a proper look later and dream! Can you imagine the painting opportunities?! Or in my case, scrapbooking!
I can't wait till later to look, Nepal! Now that would be a good story! And it's less than £600... plus $200 when you're there  but still, it sounds amazing!

Darn you Dinah! I've just found our honeymoon, 15 days in Vietnam, for some reason I've wanted to go there for ages, not a clue why! Sri Lanka looks amazing too. I really need A LOT of money!

Big, fat whoop for you being great Birdie! It's always good to know that you're desirable and that you've chosen to stay in a job rather than being stuck there because you can't get another one. Obviously it would be daft to take a paycut when there are holidays at stake!

Uh-oh, now I've gone and clicked on imaginative-traveller! OH is in a whole lot of trouble when he gets home too :rotfl:

Vietnam is supposed to be amazing, I have a friend who moved there about 3 years ago from Yorkshire. He lived in Thailand a year first but fell in love with Vietnam.

NIM was in a mad tiz trying to get his job application done for the promotion at the call centre, so I haven't dared show him yet. My heart is set on Japan as my ideal destination, but its so expensive, but there are loads of 'little' trips on there I would love to do as well!

You're in London though Wendz, living there costs about 5x as much as us out in the sticks!
