OH has just gone home to check on his brother while I watch 90210, so I thought I'd pop on and confess my MS sins. I bought a Wii today :o but, BUT I did get a really great deal the Wii + 3 games for £177. Plus I'm trading my DS + all my DS games and 2 of the Wii games I got today in at HMV for vouchers, should get about £150+ so making back all my spends today, and I can use those vouchers on birthday presents or save for chirstmas.
OH got me a cuddley bunny bless him! And a box of quality streets (No Chocolate my bum!)

ROTE - I went into thorntons today and the smaller eggs were £1.25 each and the bigger ones, with the little trays of chocolate underneath were marked down from £10 to £5. Hope you managed to get all your needed bits (chocolate eggs included!) cheaply - hardware places seem to have great deals on over easter.

Flower - My OH has days like that, I really think men have their own TOTM! Hope he's a bit happier now though, you're a great girlfriend for trying to keep everything peaceful for him. I normally tell OH where to get off (young love!)

Pilchard - Great going on the outfit, feels fantastic when you can make a 'new' outfit out of what you normally have. And I'm sure all the running is having effect!

Came on to see if Dinah had posted about Camels, must be recovering in bed from her holiday!

Cinny I do hope that wasn't your Darcy I've just seen being ridden by Ken's fancywoman on Corrie!!

You know, I'd wondered where he'd gotten too! Stealing Ken, then stealing my Darcy. How rude!
  • Wow, Cinny great deal on the wii where did you get it?

I got some eggs for tesco at half price but no luck on lawnmower cable. I went to both B&Q and homebase and neither of them stock any cables for lawnmowers which I was rather surprised about. I will try another local hardware store tomorrow then I will have a trall the internet.

To be honest i did lose my temper with him this morning :rotfl:, i shouted at him and told him to snap out of it coz he was driving me crazy with his mood swings, even told him he was worse than a girl with PMT lol. He stormed off then came back downstairs about 10 minutes later apologising - i think it has worked he seems to be back to his usual self now thank god!

Cinny thats a great deal for the wii, you should be very pleased with it! And in my opinion a wii is a great investment. We have one and whenever we're all skint we have friends round to play on it instead of going out, or on horrible days it gives us something to do. Im hoping to get the wii fit soon :D

ROTE - The Wii was from Asda, they had the deal right next to the normal Wiis which were £177 just for console and Wii Sport (which I got too so technically 4 games) OH told me to get it as I was faffing about, walking up to it, walking away ect Then spent last night laughing at me because i'd 'spent £177 just to shake my arms' typical!

    Still no news from Dinah?

    Hello Ladies!

Is anyone else chocolate-d out??? Nothing tastes better than easter egg though, mmmm!

I'm all tuckered out after this weekend, on Sunday I had to get up at 7am so I could get ready in time to leave at 8.30 to get to a Christening in Newcastle... I then had OH looking at his watch the whole time because we had to get back to Ripon for 2.30 for his friend's birthday party which I wasn't too happy about. It was my cousin's baby's christening and I had never seen the baby and I don't see my extended family very much but OH made me leave so quickly that I didn't get much of a chance to talk to anyone... but his friend's party was OK so it could have been worse!

Yesterday we went to see Fast and Furious. I'm not sure how I ended up being dragged along to that but it was OK. Laughably cheesy but I didn't want to kill myself so it can't have been too bad! I need to see a good girl film to make up for it so I'm going to ask my Mum to see 17 Again with me! Zac Efron!!!

Cinny, the Wii sounds like a good deal, just take it easy at first! I borrowed a friend's Wii and was playing the sports a little too enthusiastically and I could barely walk for about 3 days afterwards!

LOL at Ken stealing Darcy! And a wii Cinny, very cool - now your Mum and Sis definitely won't be able to moan.

I have been quite reserved over Easter - well, in comparison to the usual chocoholic binge. Just sent off the final proposal draft to the other Prof. It would be so cool if I could actually apply this week. Then I would know if I had a place in about a month!

Ooo and all this proposals talk about Dinah and NIM. I can't wait to hear what they got up to. Although Dinah will have about 20 pages to read first. At least we have been talking about money and moneysaving too (sometimes).

My Gran sent us £50 for an engagement present (gifts already?! weird) and OH Mum is sending something too. So we will put these towards a small holiday in the summer. Am off today so I better get cracking on the £10 a day challenge if I am to get even part of what I need together before October.

    Have a great day x
