Good idea on the disclaimer 'you're more likely to get wobbly belly on this diet than not'

I was saying to my sister last night, everyone's being really good atm and eating healthily.. then sitting down to watch Corrie and cramming a mars bar. Like yesterday, I was really good all day, then sitting down for my cheeky second helping of Hollyoaks and I suddenly had an empty chocolate wrapper in my hand.

Weird to think I don't have work tomorrow, can't seem to get my tiny brain around it. Must remember to turn alarm off! Have a lovely weekend ladies!

ETA: Sounds like you've been really productive ROTE! Have a great easter and put your feet up after all your MSE work!

Thank you but I couldn't possibly do that I have to get as much as I can sorted before I have to go back to school. I am so busy at term time that I don't get as much done MSE wise. Although I am trying very hard to get a work life balance. I have a shed of GCSE marking to do over the break and we are due to have the big O (ofstead) in this term.

I really need to watch what I eat but I just keep watching chocolate go into my gob!

That really really made me laugh, along with the "I don't like running it makes my bum wobble" comment!! I'm glad you at least have allies in this other couple who live there, with the four of you complaining you might be more likely to get somewhere with it. Hope you can try and have a nice relaxing weekend!

Well done ROTE, sounds like you've been really busy, keep it up :T

Well I went and had my hair done and chickened out of the Kirsten fringe but did get her to put me in a sweepy type one like I had a couple of years ago and I love it, it falls just right to actually give me some cheekbones, and now I have a bit of fringe I can sort of see what the Kirsten one would look like so I might go for that next time :D Also been to see if my ISA money has transferred yet and it hasn't  It's only numbers on a computer for god's sake I don't know why it has to take so long!

OK, off to make a pasta bake, but not as nice a one as that bacon and leek one sounds :o xxx

It's another 'grab your own tea' night at my house, not a clue what to grab though. Don't see the point in firing up the oven for one so I'll just have beanz on toast or something! Got home to find the letter from Abbey, pain in the a rse as I thought it was online but it seems to be through the post! I have the ac number + sort code, could I add it onto my online banking myself?

ROTE - yikes! That's alot of work to do, you must have more get up and go than me, I think that'd just about kill me off.

Tete - The sweeping fringe sounds nice! Making me jealous with your long hair, I feel like Scout from to kill a mocking bird (well, the movie Scout!) with my do.

Right, off to try and form a meal. Then to eat my easter egg and watch more outnumbered, feels like Friday night with no work tomorrow, I'm going to be completely thrown all week!

Woohoo Tete the hotel looks fab - and what a steal with the special offer! Love it. You must be well excited now. The restaurants we went to were Chez Michel, which specialises in food from Brittany, so it's hearty pot-roasts and stews with mushrooms and game. It's fixed price EUR 35 for 3 courses but if you want one of the specials its EUR 15ish on top. (Closed Sat and Sun I think)

    Review - http://www.fodors.com/world/europe/france/paris/review-137149.html

They also have a cheaper bistro just a few doors down called Chez Casmir, which does 4 courses (inc. cheese) for EUR 25 and is also very tasty.

Birdie, aww sorry to hear about your housing strife. Housing associations in London are okay, lots of really cool people live in HA places too - we used to sublet a room for a summer. Not sure what it's like in your neck of the woods tho.

I went on a not diet after crimbo - just what you described Cinny to the very letter! I cycled or did Davina 30 mins exercise DVD almost every day and then swapped (most) of my usual crap for tinned fruit and yoghurt. I have managed to lose 1 stone since the beginning of Jan, and what's worse I think I might have started to like exercise  LOL

Not running tho - agree totally with you Birdie!!!

ALSO I sold 2 books on amazon this week, and lo and behold one of the addresses was just across the park from me. So I have delivered it on my bike this evening with no postage spends!

And no work now until next week - yipeee!

Thanks for thinking baout me guys! OH managed to see a man at the CAB today who said that legally there's nothing we can do about the builder as the properties were his to sell to whomever he wanted to BUT our solicitors could get done for negligence for not bringing it to our attention. We have to send a letter of complaint off to them and then take it further if they don't come back with anything i.e. sue them using a better, local solicitor. Did I say that we're meeting the HA on the 21st? Can't remember if I did, but the 4 of us are going in, they 'can't fit us in' before then

Lara and ROTE are making me feel very naughty for still not listing anything on ebay! I must gop round to my parents and pick up the first (of many!) box of stuff to sell!

I'm gutted that everyone seems to have tomorrow off! I have to go into work but I may get to leave a whole half hour early... whoop! Although I'm covering 9-5 tomorrow since the woman who usually does that is on holiday so I'll be leaving at my normal time so it's hardly exciting! Oooh, forgot to say earlier but my job is now safe as another woman went for voluntary redundancy/early retirement. I'm relieved obviously but sad that this particular woman is the one to go; she's worked for the company for 35 years and she's a legend in her own little way and she's lovely when she's not doing our heads in with her 'senior moments'! It won't be the same without her and the whole team will fall into disarray with everyone fighting for power, when she's around we know who's in charge!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Well at least you don't have the thought of redundancy on top of all the housing carp, I'm pleased about that. And YOUR solicitors knew what the builder was doing?? Or is it HIS solicitor you're poss going to sue? I'm really shocked that someone you were paying to represent you could not tell you about this.

Thanks for those tips Lara, Chez Michel sounds like our kind of food so I'll write it in my book :) Right I'm going for a snuggle on the bed with the cats :)

(Oh and Cinny, I think your hairdo is very sophisticated, mine is such a mop!)

Glad you managed to find out something from the CAB and good luck with your meeting with the HA. Hopefully you will be able to come to some sort of solution.

Has anyone ever used Etsy? I have so many cards that i have made that will never all be used so thinking about possibly selling them, but have no idea where to start!!
