I feel really guilty, I haven't been out with Darcy all week. But the weather has been rainy and rubbish so I've not really had the chance. If the weather holds up today I'll be going out after dinner.
Yay for easter eggs! Me my brother and sister have just gone past 'that age' and all we get is money instead of easter eggs (what's all that about?!?) It's blummin' awful!
Decided to set myself a challenge, like Dinah did, to try and build up enough dooyoo points to get a 'free' camera off of amazon for when me and OH go to Kent, figured out I need to do 3 a day  to get there, so if anyone hears of anywhere giving out amazon vouchers please point me in their direction!
Have a nice easter sunday everyone!0 -
Happy Easter everyone:EasterBun
I did a MS on Saturday and spent more than I made, but the way I look at it is that I have a lovely scrap book with kit and a really nice album for SiL all for only £3. Bargin me thinks. I have sold a couple of things on ebay with a few more due to end today so I will keep you posted. Right off to do some gardening with OH to get it ready for the lovely hot summer *fingers crossed* we are going to have this year.Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳

Afternoon everyone and Happy Easter :easter:
haven't started eating chocolate yet - which is unusual for me as I've usually eaten my eggs by now. me and OH are busy cleaning the kitchen, which turned out to be more minging than we thought. Finished now, though so he's cooking me a lovely dinner while I while away some time on the computer. Then tonight it's sitting down to watch 'Madagascar 2' and having a chocothon :EasterBun
Hope everyone has a good day xxLet's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:Virgin CC £9793.710 -
Happy Easter everyone!!
I have hada rubbish day today! I had to go to work and as i walking through town i noticed all the shops seemed to be shut, was thinking i must have read the rota at work wrong and we must be closed. But nope, we were open - the only shop in town to be open!! So you guessed it, it has been soooo quiet all day, i have never been so bored!!
So how many easter eggs did everyone get?
OH said he is going to get me mine 2moro when they are half price, and then i can get two! Maybe my constant going on about moneysaving is sinking into his brain lol

Hello hello
Happy Easter! Hope everyone has been stuffing themselves all day. We went to a friend's house for a a big celebration - my friend's 40th birthday and our engagement and my birthday in 10 days. All good news.
Got my proposal new draft finished this morning and emailed to the Prof. Hopefully she likes it. A bit more work to do tomorrow, but I've got Tuesday off as well, so I'm planning a bit of a spring clean and maybe watching a nice film or something.
I worked out all my totals and I need to earn around £10 a day between now and the end of September to pay for fees, laptop and holidays. Better get started. Although I used Martin's mobile checker and found a new company to get £24 for my old phone, plus there was a code for £5 extra free, which makes £29. Then the two amazon sales netted me £20 - so £50 down this week already. Gran sent us a small cheque for our engagement so we're going to put that towards our holidays.

OH says he has got me something.. but it's not chocolate?! I think it might be a bunny, in keeping with the Easter theme!!
That's a right pain about work Flower! Do you atleast have tomorrow up to make up for it?
ROTE - That was a bargain! I guess a lot of people see MS that way, rather than using it purely to make money, see it as a way of getting things cheaply!
Pilchard - You must have some will power - I had chocolate for brekkie! You'll have to let me know if Madagascar 2 is any good, will pop it on my rental list.
Having to completely replan tomorrow because the house we were going too is closed! So me and OH are going to the cinema, then shopping - mainly to paperchase so I can get some of their easter things cheep-ly (hoho!) - then back to mine for a lovely sunday on a monday roast. Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday tomorrow. Dinah should be back in the UK now too?!
ETA: Lara - Sounds like a big celebration indeed! Sounds like you had fun. The £10 a day should be easy, we'll all egg you on of course! Great going on the mobile too. Have fun tomorrow inbetween working, and on Tuesday, there might be a period drama on Yesterday (freeview) or something!0 -
I only work weekends anyway as i have uni during the week. Havent got uni this week obviously as its easter holidays but have loadsa work to be getting on with as my dissertation is due in 3 weeks time.
Aww bless your OH getting you something - bet its a cute little easter bunny!
OH is really winding me up at the minute, i dont even want to be in the same room as him. He is being so misserable and snappy at the minute. I know hes tired as he has been working alot of extra hours, but i have been going out my way to make sure that when he is at home he can just relax - i have done all the cooking, cleaning, washing etc... but hes just taking everything out on me, grr men!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Wow you are going to be busy, what is your dissertation about?
I am going to go to tesco with DD and see if they have any half price easter eggs. I also need to go to B+Q as our lawn is sick. I need to buy a new cable as the old one broke when OH pulled it to start (a petrol lawnmower) fingers crossed it isn't expensive.

Hi girls
Hope everyone's having a fab Bank Holiday. I'm getting annoyed with myself cos I need an outfit for Friday as my nephew passes out of his training in the army at Catterick. I've been on a fruitless search for 2 days now and when I try something on I look the same - beached whale. Not happy cos it seems like all the running (or in my case, staggering) is for nothing). I then had a brainwave and am wearing a dress I already have with a black jacket. I'll be happy wearing it and it's money saving! Ate one Easter Egg yesterday and got one to eat today but still got loads of cleaning to do first
Cinny, Madagascar 2 was ok but I'd heard it was better than the first one but I don't think it was so I was a bit disappointed. The peguins had a bigger role in this one though, which was good.
Well, I guess Dinah's back in the country and recovering from her holiday. Hope she had a fab time and can't wait to hear all about it.
Have a good rest of the day xxLet's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:Virgin CC £9793.710 -
