ETA: Tete - I read Asda are doing their £1 easter eggs again! I think I'll look like a right chuff going to the checkout with 7 though.

Take someone with you and roll your eyes behind their backs! I think we ended up with 9 as we're going to see OH's family on Easter weekend and his 2 brothers and sister and niece etc will all be there. We may also have bought an extra 1 or 2 in case of emergencies...

Making your knees hurt?? Lol at your mum and the men in Lycra, can't think of much worse myself

It's an expensive place to visit Birdie, especially from our neck of the woods and if you don't want to be staying in some hovel. Our Eurostar from Durham was £87 rtn each, this is the lowest fare they do and very hard to find, but the plane was around £50 rtn from Newc. The nice-ish hotels I've been looking at in fairly decent areas are looking at about £150-170 each for the 3 nights, and then there's food and spending money, and it's not a cheap place. I'm going to try and save plenty of spending money because I don't want to come home not having done this or that because I couldn't afford it, I want to make the most of it.

We're looking for a cheapy package deal somewhere sunny a few weeks after we go to Paris, sounds extravagant but we're only going to Paris so late because OH wanted his uni out the way with for the year. A week in Ibiza/Menorca/Cyprus/somewhere for about £250, just the ticket! OH mentioned Egypt actuall last night but there's no way I'm going in June, I'll absolutely frazzle!

I don't know about the etsy shop, there seems to be so much on there I'm not sure if I'd be wasting my time and my little 'shop' will not be seen! I'm going to try selling to friends/ colleagues and see what happens. People at work keep saying I should sell my cards because they like them so much- if they don't actually buy them once I make some to sell I'll be very disappointed!

Yep, my knees! Sounds weird I know, but if I really want to do something my knees tense up. :o

That's a great idea Poddle! :rotfl: Might not be going tonight afterall, hope they still have them in tomorrow.

Nothing interesting to sell really, a few bodywarmers, maybe a tap if I get lucky! Having to leave it until tomorrow now though, figured out what I was meant to be doing. Invoices, Joy!

ETA: I'm sure you'll do great Birdie - going by the explanations of your cards they sound fantastic!

Just worked it out and I can't do ebay this week, off on Friday then the following week so people will be waiting ages in the cold for their body warmers, will just type up drafts and post lots when I get back!

Good lord, my PC is so majorly rubbish I missed all of these replies, I thought I was posting just after Cinny on the previous page! Paris is sounding pretty pricey, may have to wait a while! We'll be finding a cheapy holiday in June, actually that reminds me, I have to see when I can get time off work...

I don't actually think that it's your PC I think it is the new system I have been having problems since yesterday. I can't even thank anyone.

I'm having problems too, the pages keep on skipping and one second they'll be fine. Then the next the format is completely out. Very odd!

Work has dried up, so I spent the last 30 minutes with a cup of tea reading more magazine. Oh, working life is hard!

Any news on the hotel Tete?

ETA: Doing fantasy house buying now, this has been the object of housie love for the past week; http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-7547169.html?locationIdentifier=POSTCODE%5E247432&sortByPriceDescending=false&minBedrooms=1&radius=10.0&pageNumber=50&backToListURL=%2Fproperty-for-sale%2Ffind.html%3FlocationIdentifier%3DPOSTCODE%255E247432%26sortByPriceDescending%3Dfalse%26minBedrooms%3D1%26radius%3D10.0%26index%3D490 it's even book marked at work as 'Housie!' :o
