Morning Birdie and Cinny! Cinny your mum's silly... if you didn't save you wouldn't have been able to get your Pashley or have afforded the caravan when you go away, you'd have just frittered your wages away every week on clothes and magazines and make-up, I think you're an inspiration!

Birdie it's so annoying when you know people with rich parents who pay for everything! One of OH's best friends lives with his gf and her young son, she doesn't work and he only works in a factory earning less than I do, yet they have this lovely house, always have a fridge full of lovely food and booze and the stuff they've got! All sorts of game consoles, laptops, DVDs, blu-rays, Sky TV... you name it! They have stuff I haven't even heard of and that I can't afford even though I'm living at home. Seems to us that her Dad (some bigwig at somewhere or other) pays for their living expenses and OH's friend's wage is their pocket money. It's annoying but in a way I'd rather struggle and do it myself, it would all feel fake otherwise. Are you back on DOTD duties now or still training?

Just looked at my online banking and if I get a Paris hotel for about £150 that'll leave me £200 til payday, £10 per day. Really should be do-able but makes me feel a bit nauseous!!

ETA - I just remembered I've booked myself in to have my hair done on Thursday so that depletes my funds somewhat!!

I'm training again this week, may be able to sneak a DOTD at some point, I hope I can! I'm working with another lady this week, I hope I have more luck with her!Although I wish I had parents who paid for everything it is quite nice knowing that what we have is ours and we have to work for it. We have had some help from my parents but nowhere near as much as OH's friends, they're moving into a house this week that Daddy has paid the deposit on and he paid for the best solicitors to get them in as quickly as possible! You should manage fine on £10 a day Tete, don't worry about it! If you don't think about it you'll probably manage loads of NSDs without realising!

I'll admit - when I move out I'll no doubt be one of those people! Not willingly, but very very grateful!

I went to see that movie yesterday too Birdie, in 3d, was great!

Tete - My parents are proud of me for being able to buy the Pashley out right, but I think they just want me to stop fretting over every penny. Saying this I am going shopping again tomorrow, only primark, I need summer clothes! But still.

On other news, I woke up this morning to find my cat hunched over a half eaten mouse, ewwwwwww, cats are now banned from my room! Yuck.

£10 should be enough Tete! We shall sit here nicely and egg you on. I'm sure you'll be able to do it.

I know! I couldn't believe it when she said they were moving in already! Oh well, I'm sure she has to pay in other ways, they'll be in his parents pockets forever now, I'd rather not have that hanging around my neck!

Oh dear, my computer really is throwing a wobbly today! I can't quote now! Cinny, you're very lucky to have parents in the position to help you, I'm jealous! Your parents sound so good that they won't hold it against you either! I've been browsing the £1000 in £100 days challenge and thinking if I should sign up, although I can't see myself getting anywhere like that much money! Maybe if I aim for £500... hmmm... would I actually stick to it I wonder?!

Well my parents won't be paying my rent as such- but my dad has a housing thing-a-magjig so it would only be £50 a week if I chose it. I'm really grateful for it though, I think they know it as they seem to have an endless stream of tea coming at them!

You could give it a go at least, could be the first thing to go into your sig! We'll all be your little cheerleading team. Maybe without the skorts as I don't have my summer legs on yet.

Can you send some of that tea-stream my way please Cin? I'm sooo tired this morning! Hehe, I love that "I don't have my summer legs on yet" - that's what I'll say if anyone comments on my milk bottle legs this summer, "My summer legs are in the wash, these are my winter legs" or something :D

Birdie you could aim for £1000 and be satisfied with £500? Aim high, that's what I say!

One sugar or two? Making tea for builders all day leaves me feeling weird if I make a tea without sugar!

I really need to invest in either a can of Garnier spray tan, or a few hours sunning in the garden on Friday (*fingers crossed it's sunny*!) I think I'll opt for the latter.

Ohh, going easter egg shopping tonight! Need to get some easter cards from Paperchase for people in the office too.

ETA: Going to the depths of the stock room to get some things for ebay. Wish me and the camera luck!

I think I will go for the challenge! The next one starts on the 11th so I'll sign up! I've got a load of stuff to ebay so it'll give me a kick up the backside to get it done!

I don't get the whole Easter Card thing now, it seems like yet another marketing ploy to get more money out of folk who think that buying eggs and cuddly bunnies aren't enough!
