  • Well now it works when I only write ten words, ahem may be it's a word over load on the new upgraded system.

ROTE, forums have been a bit sporadic with the work being done on them. Hope you're well!

I haven't really noticed any differences since the upgrade, i don't know what I was expecting though. Strobe lights?!

As for the cards, I don't think I'll be giving them to office people afterall. The woman I work with would put a downer on it 'I don't see why .. blah blah blah.' I'll just grab a pack to send to far off Aunties who send me easter eggs. They're just like a seasonal thank you card!

ETA: Tete - I read Asda are doing their £1 easter eggs again! I think I'll look like a right chuff going to the checkout with 7 though.

Yes, thank you lovely. I've had a lovely weekend up the lakes for Sils wedding. I did a reading in the church and we set balloons off for the local hospice with guest making a donation and writing a massage on a tag attached to the balloon.

    Lovely news about Lara

I've just noticed that it now says how many times you've thanked people as well as how many have thanked you! Big upgrade! I think that sending Easter Cards as a seasonal thank you is nice, but I'd have major stress overload if I had to send cards to everyone for Easter as well as Christmas and birthdays! Talking about cards, I finally made the batch of thank you cards I've been meaning to do for ages on Saturday. Go me! I think I'll have to keep it up and make more tonight and I can start a 'To Sell' pile!

Go you indeed! I hadn't noticed that about the thanks, wow! And the text box you write posts in seems to have bigger margins around the outside...

Wedding in the Lakes sounds lovely ROTE, what a lovely place to get married.

Thanks for that about the £1 eggs Cinny, I'll pop there after work! I only need for Granny, Daddy and OH, and I want to get one in the shape of a chick or something for best mate's babba, might pop to Thorntons and get a Happy 1st Easter message iced on.

Can't do any work, looking at things to do in Paree (now that hotel is almost sorted) - the Louvre is free on the first Sunday of every month, which is when we'll be there! Bonus! Tho it'll probably be jammed :( And I quite fancy and evening boat ride and possibly an evening trip up the Tower. Haven't been on a city break in the summer ever I don't think and having the lighter nights means you can see so much more, woo! :)

Ooh Tete your trip is sounding great! I may have to have a word with OH and ask if we can go sometime soon. I was talking to my parents yesterday and my Mum was begging me to take my French further and get a higher qualification in it as she really thinks it will 'take me places' (not sure where... but it'll be handy for when I retire in the South of France!) and I think I need a little trip to practice my French before starting any courses! How much is the whole thing costing? We're very tight when it comes to trips, OH has a heart attack if our yearly holiday costs more than £200 each!

I agree with Birdie, your holiday is sounding fantastic. Making my knees hurt, I want to go! I'll have to make do with ice creams in Cornwall and Scones in Kent this year. Paris must be lovely in Summer - My parents went last year to see the Tour de France and they said it was so much better than the other times they have been. (might of been because of the men in lycra for my mum, but I'm sure my Dad was on about the weather..)

Birdie - are you going to open an Etsy shop or something when you have more cards to sell? Well done on the thank you cards!

Back from dinner now and I feel sleepy! :o My noggin' can't figure out what to do next. MSE it is!

Afternoon girlies and a MASSIVE congratulations to Lara - how exciting! I can't remember when you're off to Paris, Tete - early June? Sounds like your plans are shaping up nicely:D

Good luck with the challenge Birdie! It's a great idea! I ebayed a couple of things last week and made nearly £40 (yay!) although I promptly spent £25 on a dress and a cardigan (oops!) but still in profit overall... It can be a bit disheartening when you think how much you paid for something, but that has already been spent and it's worth nothing sat unused in your wardrobe.

What are you ebaying today, Cinny? Anything good? We've got a couple of random things to get rid of like a water ski, some printer cartridges and a telephone!

ps. OH and I bought lots of £1 Easter eggs in Asda at the weekend - they're not the teeny ones either! The big Cadburys ones are only £3 too!
