Well done for staying away from the wine Poddle! And you were quite right to eat the mini eggs, all things considered!

Hi girlies! Can't read back as on iPod fancy wireless. Egypt is fantastic. N.I.M is very warm. Have met a camel. Hope your all well, will catch up on any developments when I get back. D and N.I.M x

N.I.M here. I had to type this up. Seems touch screen technology is a little beyond the love of life. I've only gone lobster in little bits. Still mostly pasty white Irish man.

Even though you can't read back Hello Dinah and NIM! Even more of a shame as we've been talking about ISAs, and Dinah would be dead proud me thinks! :money:

I've got a recipe for Banoffee muffins Poddle, my muffin recipe book states. 'banana muffings with their rich toffee-fudge sauce are absolutely delicious!' I've just made my dinner but i'll copy that one up too if you're interested!

Stopped at Asda on the way home, got my sugar, bun cases and a new bun tray so I'll be baking this afternoon it would seem!

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you Birdie, breathe deeply, remember the coffee exercises! And a proper 'lol' at the wheelchair root lady comment!!

Aw, sorry you didn't get the job Poddle, it was probably a rubbish job anyway! :o I know what you mean about it being worse that you're a 'close second' - I had a real phase of that a few years ago and it's so frustrating! And they can't offer any constructive feedback it's just, 'there was someone more suitable'. Keep trying though, I know it's demoralising. And your sig's looking ace - you've paid off over £9k in 6 months! :T (And well done on Lent, I caved with the alcohol but kept up with the bread so I'm 50% too)

Hi Birdie, wondered where you were! I know it's not nice to say, but I wouldn've thought that if there was someone still in training stages and redundancies are coming up, surely it's a no-brainer? And I always use that philosophy to not have my roots done very often, there's only OH and Dad who can see the top of my head so hopefully it doesn't look too bad to everyone else!! :o

Hi to Dinah and NIM, sounds like you're enjoying yourselves! It's gorgeous outside today (I know people always say that when you go on holiday! :rotfl:) - but it is, I'm all in the mood for a hol! (Must confess though... Didn't go anywhere near Lloyds at lunchtime, I went to H&M and bought a sparkly cardie :o:o:o But it WAS half price and I'd had my eye on it a while :o )

That's the cardie justified then! Will you be going to the bank tomorrow instead?

Just finished making the cupcakes - 34 big ones and 18 petit four sized ones. 'This recipe makes 24' my bum! Unless they mean cakes, in which case they're spot on! Just having a rest before washing up and icing!

Phew, finally I'm back at my desk! I'm soooo ready to go home, pretty gutted that I have to do it all over again tomorrow! The problem is that they merged two departments together last year but no-one has bothered to really mix the work together, everyone has been sticking to what they know but since the team is shrinking it is now very important that everyone knows every job and everyone is giving me a hard time training them! The lady I've been with today has been whingeing all afternoon about having a headache because she's working too hard... she thinks she's got it bad, she wants to be in my seat! Cinny, I need a cupcake!

The cardie sounds nice Tete, I can never tell anyone off for buying pretty clothes, I do it too when I know I shouldn't! Especially as it is nice today, I want summer clothes!

Hi Dinah even though you can't see me! And Little Lobster NIM!

Poor Birdie, have a nice glass of wine when you get in. At least tomorrow you can console yourself that it's Friday! I've been looking at Paris hotels again all afternoon trying to get a shortlist to show OH tomorrow so we can book. Seen some gorgeous 5* ones but unfortunately £600 for three nights is a bit out of my price range!

Sending virtual cupcakes your way Birdie! Hopefully she'll be better tomorrow, a bit more prepared. Fingers crossed.

Oooh, I bet those hotels are lovely Tete! I'm sure you'll be able to find something just as nice in your price range though.

Planning on curling up after tea, watching angus thongs and perfect snogging and fall into a deep sleep until 6am tomorrow! I don't know why I'm so sleepy.

Morning! Mmmm, virtual cupcakes are going down a treat!

I'm so sleepy, didn't get in until 12.15! J-Mo was really good though, so I didn't have to tell him off! It was standing only though so after nearly 4 hours on my feet I was in major pain- my friends were silly and wore heels so they were in double major pain, they were walking like John Wayne on the way out!

Right... off to get a coffee then put my training head on again...wish me luck!
