    Right, Bzzagent... name noted!

I really should do a sig shouldn't I? But it means baring figures for all to see and having the shame of not adding to funds that I've committed myself to!
I feel your fear it is like standing up and saying "Hi my name is ROTE and I have 26 grand of debt". But I suppose until you get to the point where you actually add it all up you are just hiding your head in the sand. I actually thought we had around 14k of debt so what a shock. However until that point I don't think I was truely serious about paying it off. My family and friends don't know but on here a feel safe that no one well judge me.

  • Oh forget to say on last post it is payday so excited. Balance looks good for a couple of days until the 1st when all the direct debits, but then I can change my sig which is great.

Some of my family are coming over from Ireland today so really looking forward to seeing them later.

OOh Birdie im actually quite jealous of you needing to make all them cards! I find myself trying to think of reason i need to make cards! I find it so relaxing and end up with a big pile of cards with no one to send them to lol.

We have quite a few birthdays this month and i have just ordered some cards making bits off the internet yesterday, so that will give me something to get on with.

I think that's the nice thing about this place, it is pretty much faceless. I wouldn't dream of talking to people in real life about having debt - I know it isn't *that* bad compared to a lot of people but it is a lot for me as I'm 23 and really wanting spare money to pay for a wedding and travel and eventually a baby. I'm currently super broody after watching that Louise Redknapp programme last night!. Anyway, here you can say exactly what is on your mind and not worry about being judged, at the end of the day I'm just some random person with a daft name, you're not going to stop me on the street and tell me off for going shopping when you know how much I owe on my credit card!

You've already done so well with the debt ROTE, already nearly £1500 cleared since January! That's what I love, seeing the incredible amounts that people clear in such short periods of time!

Well done of the medal Flower! I tend to make piles of cards with no-one to send them to so it's nice to have an excuse for once! I took up scrapbooking because I had so much stuff to play with and no-one to make cards for so it's like making a big card with photos on!

I have a box in the front room with all my craft stuff in, he moans that its always in the way. He should be grateful, when im doing my cards its the only time i dont moan about him having the football on.......MEN!!!

  • I have a lot of debt but I also have a good wage but hundreds of pounds each month go on cc's and I got to thinking I would have that money each month to send on what I/we want. Now since the crunch OH's business has been on the go slow. My wage has always paid all the bills and his money has been for our extras like holidays ect. I would just love some extra wage from him so I could throw it at the cc's.

I know what you mean ROTE, im always thinking "if only we had £x amount more per month it would be so much easier!".
In a way though i am quite glad that i have got into debt at a young age (admittedly not a vast amount, but too much for me!!), then hopefully i wont make the same mistakes. Im hoping that the only other debt i will have in my life is a mortgage, and even that i will want to pay off as quickly a possible!!

I think you are rightI would't like to think about the amount of interest I have paid over the years.

I'm off for a while ladies catch you all later. Hope you both have a great time Dinah if I don't catch you later.
