Well sad about the account, but just cheered myself up, weather is looking like it's going to be in the 16C (night time min) to 32C (daytime max) range while I'm away.

Slight worry that the memory card for the new camera hasn't arrived yet...

Is there any better way to cheer yourself up than free treats? Just managed to get free theatre tickets for NIM and I to two shows in April/May. Neither of them are pure drama, so not the type of thing I usually see at the theatre, but it's a bit different and free so looking forward to it!

NIM went to MS an offlicence tonight - and they ID-d him! He didn't have any on him so he doesn't quite know what to do now!

:rotfl: :rotfl: I remember the complete look of shock on OHs face when he got ID-d buying beer in sainsburys. He is 24, and looks it. You should have heard him moaning to the cashier that he was 6 years over the legal drinking age and was she completely mad. Needless to say he didnt get the beer.

  • Thanks to you Dinah I have just completed my first review on dooyoo -on a tommee tippee steam steriliser of all things. I am go to get OH to do some later on some ps3 games, I told him that it is now his new job.

I telephoned the mortgage company to see about moving the mortgage but it will cost me £1660. so I will have to stay until the tie in runs out in Dec. I went on to martins fixed vs discount and it told me to stay put. The BS have got me over a barrel because they charge so much to move elsewhere. I will put a reminder into my phone to move it and will start looking for deals around oct/nov time.

Glad you got started on Dooyoo ROTE. Impressed with the phone reminder for the mortgage too!

NIM to be fair does not look his age, he looks sort of like a 6ft 1" 9 year old, all smiles and round cheeks. He's been a bit stressed the last few days trying to fit everything in, think he really needs the holiday.

  • Aah bless poor little NIM it will possibly take you both two or three days to unwind and start to relax. Until then you won't actually be in holiday mode. I am sure you will have a lovely time and come back all relaxed and ready to set to it again.

Woooo - HAPPY BDAY CINNY! I hope you've had a fab day.

I'm off to bed, have to get up at 4:30am to get my Lancaster train

Have a fab holiday Dinah, you deserve it after all that hard work debt-busting.
