Woops, a post while I posted!
Where is the lady herself? She is gonna be mad if shes still poorly, Icannot imagine her sitting still for one minute.

I was thinking that, so weird she's not logged on though. I remember when she was off work, all doped up and still logging in every hour!!

Thanks TPA, really excited now :D

    Evening everyone

I'm sat here thinking about 'the walk' tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it but my ankle is twingeing a bit from my stagger the other day. I only started running 2 weeks ago so have only been 5 times but already I've noticed a difference. My lungs still leave my body part way through but my legs don't scream with pain anymore and the pain I got in my side doesn't come on anymore (mmm, running sounds REALLY healthy!!!!). We're going to invest in some proper running shoes once we know we're going to keep it up. TBH I felt really stupid the first couple of times but I figure I see people looking a lot worse and I just admire them for trying.

Hope you're feeling a bit better, Dinah. Cinny, have a fab day tomorrow xx

Hi everyone, sorry for worrying you, I am still alive, just! Managed to keep down a jacket potato (nothing on it, so boring!) yesterday, but then was up most of the night in that horrible 'feeling sick but not being sick' limbo. Have been reading and following, but (embarrassing part) I had some kind of wierd amnesia yesterday and couldnt remember my phone number, password for here, my email or bank or anything! I went downstairs and made a drink, put it on the side, came back up, thought 'i'm thirsty' went down, made another one, again forgot to bring it up and did it all over again. Ended up with 3 drinks before I copped I didn't need to make another one.

Loved yesterdays DOTD btw. Not sure about the side pleats, but the lace and shoulder straps were lovely.

NIM and I have applied for a joint account with first direct, as then we can have their 7% ISA. Plus £100 welcome bonus. Found out there was £75 cashback for going through topcashback too, and in my stupid poorly state I just completely forgot to do it!

Mum wanted Clinique Happy in Bloom perfume for mothers day, not realising it was £45, however my brother and I agreed to chip in together to get it. I have about £30 in boots points on my card, so any of the money my brother gives me that is effectively 'profit' I'm going to stick in the savings account.

NIM has an interview for a great full time job tomorrow, lots of fingers crossed please ladies. How did yours go Lara?

Finally started to get sorted for Egypt. Camera has been ordered (got an insane one with 12x optical zoom and 8.2mp, chuffed with that!), got travel insurance (20% cashback, around £18) for both as mine runs out in a month and it seems a lot cheaper to get couples than 2 x single people. Have bought some fit-flops (claim to burn 3llbs a week from an hour a days wear and give me leg toning, worth a shot!), still need sunglasses and suncream though.

NIM is out a lot of tomorrow so I plan to blitz tidy the room in order to find my to do list, as my interim one is scary enough on its own. Also we ordered a printer as it's challenging to say the least not having one. Has a built in scanner too, which means we can scan in our documents to send to free bingo so we can make withdrawls, and I can write the long, long list of letters I need to do to complain to various people before I go away. Should arrive tomorrow too, but won't be able to use it until NIM gets back as I'm not technical, really want it wirelessly linked into the house network via my desktop computer, nothing too fancy then!

Have so much to do, could have done with this week off work really like I'd planned, but c'est la vie.

Finally actually transfered the last of the money off CC2 today, so as of today I have no CC debt that is actually mine. However CC1 contains £477 from a computer I paid for for the lad who lives with us which I am still waiting for his dad to pay me for, and CC2 still contains £2264 that mum and dad owe NIM and I. NIMs rent money is going there each week so it's being paid off slowly which means less debt in my name even if it isn't technically mine. CC3 *should* be complely clear now, need to check next months statement and then I can write and close it.

Afternoon ladies! Nice to see you're still alive dinah! I'll read your post properly when I get home, on my blackberry ATM! Had to come on for a reason I'll post at the end (suspence and all) was London afterall!! Got let loose in cath kidson, complete shock, got some amazing things though! Went to 10 downing street, and the Winston chruchill museum. On my way home now and the reason why I came on us because .... Martin Lewis (alright a look a like) is sat across from me! Have a nice end of weekend, hope you feel better soon dinah.

    Happy Birthday Cinny

Glad you're feeling a bit better Dinah. It's awful feeling like you're going to be sick, isn't. I think it's worse than actually being sick once and for all. As for the fit flops, I've got a pair and haven't lost weight or toned up with them, although in Tenerife I walked for an hour and could feel it in my bum! I used them in Turkey in September, though and walked all round Ephasus and went everywhere with them on but none of the above happened. I do have to say, however, that they are the most comfortable flip flops I've ever worn and I can't wait to wear them again - I love them!!

Well, I did a 17 mile sponsored walk today for a dog rescue place so at the moment my legs are killing me  and I think I need a stairlift.

Hope everyone has a good evening xx

So long credit cards!! Well Done Dinah!!! Not long until your holiday now either, send us a postcard :D

It isn't my birthday just yet, but thank you anyways! I feel all wise and grown up (and smelling slightly of rose) already.

My £20 plan has gone to pot  just spent £30 on topshop, 4 tank tops and some grey leggings. All of which I do actually need (to go with the stuff i got yesterday) and £20 on Cath Kidston - bought my parents thank you presents of bits they liked yesterday (yep, my dad liked cath kidston!) but they're worth it! Off on a bike ride with my Pa now, then taking my pooch on a long walk once OH gets here, have a nice end of weekend ladies!!

    Good Morning Girls!

Glad your weekend was good Cinny, it sounds like London was fab! I'm very impressed about the Martin-alike sighting!

Nice to hear that you're still alive Dinah! Hope that you're feeling much better now. Well done on clearing the CC, the rest of the debt will be gone in no time! How did NIM's interview go?!

I've got some fit flops too and although I'm not convinced that they are a miracle weight loss/toning gizmo they are super comfy and very supportive (which I need for my sad weak legs!) and I did feel it a bit in my legs when I wore them so maybe they were doing something? I can't wait for nice weather so I can dig them out again!

Sorry to hear the £20 plan went to pot Cinny, but it was a special weekend so it is allowed!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Those Fit Flops are really good Birdie! My Mum has some of the MBT(?) shoes which are amazing, it's just a down side they look a bit special needs, the fit flops look much better than those though.

Done some more dream shopping on Cath Kidston - £128, is there any stopping me? Put them on my gift list and I'll knock them all off one by one, payday by payday! Can you tell I have a problem? Very sore today from the bike ride and walkies! Just looking at train tickets for when we go to London later on in the year (my mums birthday this time!)

Are you feeling any better today Dinah?!
