You could go walking in Harrods, get someone to take you in blindfolded, pop you somewhere and you have to find your way out! Or is it just me who gets hopelessly lost in there?

I once got lost in a gift shop in Seahouses (North East Coast). It wasn't even that many years ago :o In my defense it was huge and had about 8 sections and 3 doors and every section had the same stuff in it (Rock. Fudge. Bucket and Spade.) I went with OH last summer and made him hold my hand the whole time we were in there so I wouldn't get lost again! :rotfl:

Hope the interview goes well Lara! Take lots of Beechams all in 1 to keep you going so you don't turn into a snivelling mess on the desk!;)

Morning everyone! I am pooped today, only got about 5 hours sleep last night, and have to work extra hard today as I'm only in til 12. I've just realised it's pay day next Thurs and I have £200 in my bank and about £40 in my purse, so I'm wondering whether I can save that £200... Probably not now that I think about it, still got a couple of things to get for Dad's bday and want to get Granny some flowers for Mother's Day. If I can save £150 though I'll be happy, it'll go aside for a holiday to Paris or something!

I'm not sure you'll be going to see a show if you'll be home by 10 Cinny? Unless it's a matinee? Singing in the Rain sounds like a likely candidate though! Have a lovely time!!

Good luck for 12 o clock Lara!! Once it's over you can get yourself home and snuggled up and indulge in your cold! (I don't live in the country by the way I live in a very industrial little town full of chemical plants and nuclear power, it's just really well placed for getting to Northumberland, the Lakes, the Dales and the Moors, its one saving grace!)

How's Dinah today? After she posted the opther day I thought she must be feeling better but she hasn't been back since so maybe not!

Right I do have a lot to do today so signing off and not letting myself come back on! (til tonight maybe) :hello: Byesies!

Afternoon! Jeez, it's been quiet! I have my various money pots now filled and looking purdy! £20 in my holiday fund, £20 back into OHs, £20 in my purse! I'm good to go.

I've gone from feeling really hungry to really sleepy! Gonna go pop my jeans on and either go for a bike ride or go for a walk with the dogs. Try and muster up some energy.

Oooh, Cinny, look at your holiday fund! That's grow in no time!

I think I've got spring fever, all of us in the office have, we're a bit giddy and sniffing at the windows wanting to get out!

I'm currectly munching on a Galaxy Cookie Crumble, I only opened it to get the code on the inside of the packet to see if I've won a book but sadly I have to eat the chocolate to see the code. What's a girl gonna do?!

Congrats Lara!! Worth all the hassle in the end then! How are you feeling now? Still no Dinah either I see.

Birdie I was seduced by the Galaxy win a book thing too! Didn't win though. Oh well, if at first you don't succeed, try and try again :D Nomnomnom!

Ex and I had a long walk on the beach, was quite nice. Cooler there than inland but blew the cobwebs away for sure! He was in better spirits than I was expecting and not at all needy like I feared, all good. Full of candy floss now and fear my teeth may all drop out at some point this evening :(

Good luck with the £20 thing Cinny, is that to last you til next Friday then? I spent more than I meant to today, was getting some gardeny bits for Dad's birthday and spotted some lovely bright pink pots and I need some to rehouse my cacti. £12 for six though so not SO bad, and it'll keep me out of trouble while OH's away! Have a fab evening girls whatever you're up to. Happy Friday!!

Glad to hear the interview went well Lara!!:j Do you have to wait to hear back? (I know nothing of uni stuff!)

Ooh, Candyfloss! Glad it went well with your Ex. The pots sound pretty though, completely worth the spend me thinks. And yep, the £20 is to last me all week. I've told OH I'll give him £10 petrol money though, so really down to £10 already.

Alarm set for 5:15 tomorrow morning  Got more clues, that we're having a proper meal out for dinner and tea, and that my dad is dressing smartly. Not really a clue but a pretty rare thing, so it must be fancy!
