Thanks D - it's with RE, so that's really good to know. It's for booze, so it will be my job to get drunk?! Lol

Thanks Birdie, glad you're having some good weather - it's a bit grey here, but I'm off anyway. Hopefully I should be able to send off one application this week!

I quite like the DOTD, although not sure about fabric and beading. Am I being too picky?! The style is gorgeous, but I'd prefer it if it was more simple and maybe raw silk or something...

Great news about OH's pay, Birdie!

I've just been offered an interview for one of the (many) jobs I've applied before so I'm chuffed. At the same time can't believe it's only the second thing that's come up since Christmas!

Lara, I know what you mean about haemorrhaging money - it will cost me £23 to get to the interview. I shouldn't complain though!

You are being too picky Mrs! ;) I'd get it in cream probably, I think that it will suit my shape, I've saved the picture to take to a shop selling Maggie Sottero dresses so I can try it on at some point! I like a bit of fuss on a dress, just not embroidery and lace all over so this is a happy medium!

Good luck for the interview! :D

Lol, sorry! I think it would be lurvely in cream (I think the white looks a teensy bit grey) and I love the fact that it has little straps. I'm just very boring when it comes to clothes - I don't even wear buttons! I like stripes though, but I'm not sure that's the done thing on a wedding dress:rotfl:

I love the DOTD! Maybe without the clippy bit on the waist though? But I think that's just me. I love the colour too (is it grey?!) really different from white or cream but without being too loud. I think I might just sit and look at that this afternoon.

Lara - hope the weather faired up for you on your bike ride. I'd feel oh-so Adam Hart Davis biking around London... but once again I think that's just me. Sounds like a right pain getting up to Lancaster! I'm sure I saw a £5 off railfare code on this weeks martin-mail. Every little helps. Plus travelodges are doing rooms for £19 between 4th april - something of May if you're going around that time and need to stay over.

Good luck on the interview Poddle!

Went into town today to get my Red nose for the year - also got a magnet for my mums car, then I noticed an old fashion sweet shop had opened so I decided to get some floral gums - my bank account is looking glum!
Got some sad news! Might not be seeing OH this weekend, he's taken on more overtime so is working everyday this week with no time for little old me! I can't complain though, just a bit of a bottom.
Still no news on the flat for OH - but my Dad has just offered OH one of our houses for £80 p/w but it is a 3 bedroomed semi! so I'll see what he says to that.

    Woops - long post. Sorry!

I agree about the white looking grey, maybe it's the lighting? I don't like white anyway, too clean looking and I'll end up with chocolate down the front!

Cinny managed to find a wedding dress that looks like a tampon so there is hope for a stripey wedding dress!:rotfl:

The bike ride was lovely, such a tonic. I may well be walking like a robot after 2 hours cycling, and the lift on the foot tunnel was broken so I had to carry the bike up and down 7 flights of stairs twice. I felt like one of those iron men.

Floral gums  I love them too Cinny 'nomnomnomnom'! It's so hard to find them.

Woo! Good luck with the interview Poddle!! £23 is a lot, hmm know the feeling.

I like the DOTD too Birdie, I love the grey colour but maybe not with the clippy bit. I like that grey wedding dress in the ad for visa (or mastercard) where the guy is running to his wedding naked and has to buy everything on the way.
