Don't, I just did a search and we could go for two week in Turkey first two weeks in Sept for £350 from our local airport, 3 star, sooo tempting. But, I know it'll be just as cheap if I book two weeks before hand, so might as well wait and see what NIM is doing career wise.
Or £378 2 week Florida flydrive... think you have to be 25 to drive a rental car though???Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yea we are hoping to go away somewhere at the end of august, and as much as i just want to book something i know that if we do it a couple of weeks before we should be able to get a pretty good deal!
£350 for two weeks is really good!
Its reasuring to know that there are cheap holidays out there. I know everyone says you shouldnt go on holiday if you are still in debt but i think i would go insane if i didnt have at least one holiday a year!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Stunning, dontcha think?
All your holidays, or maybe holidays, sound fantastic! You all deserve a nice sunny break, me thinks!
My sister is getting a new car this weekend, she cashed in half her premium bonds that my grandparents have been saving for us all. Saw my Grandad last night and he sempt so crushed about it. Been trying to think of something I can get him, or bake him to cheer him up. I've never felt so bad sat at their kitchen table in all my life, then my brother started answering back to my Grandpa and I wanted to throttle him. Any ideas Ladies?!0 -
Cinny i just love that dress! :rotfl:
Your poor grandpa, i hate it when people are rude to old people - especially if its my grandparents. You are obviously very good at baking so i think a nice cake or something would really help cheer him up.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
My brother isn't normally like that, really wound me up! In a way he was sticking up for our sister, but still.
I was thinking a cake but he's more like a biscuit kind of fella! Twinks hobnobs might go down well, could make some in the morning before work.0 -
Well ladies I became a gran mother today - baby Amber 7lb 4oz born at 9.39am. OH and I are going up at 7pm and it is killing me. No one but her OH is allowed up before then because she had a section. I will let your know so how cute she is in the flesh as I have only seen a photo:mad: and also what she smells like, I love that baby smell. OMG I can't wait.Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳
😁Debt Free and you can do it too0 -
Cinny, where did you find that dress?! It's AMAZING!
Your poor Grandad - did your sister talk to him about it first? It does seem like a logical thing to do (Martin hates premium bonds!) but it's obviously not what your grandparents had intended. How about making a swiss roll? I saw it on Rachel Allen's Bake at the weekend and I've been daydreaming about it ever since...LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380
