I think exploring one anothers bodies is nonsense advice, we're advising them to get involved in full foreplay and then just stop cold, they're never going to do that! I think the current appauling teenage pregnancy statistics would show that the current physical but no emotional advice being doled out is failing modern teenagers.

I don't think you're giving them enough credit there, I know I certainly built up to having sex the first time, it didn't feel like 'stopping cold', it gave us both the chance to consider and get used to each stage before moving on to the next.

For me it's not so much the feel of condoms but the smell, yuk! I have to say I've never used them with OH because, gulp, we couldn't get any to fit him :eek:

Your first kiss sounds idyllic, I haven't had many kisses ever to compare to that I don't think haha!

I have an implant, after reading online and finding it was statistically more effective than surgical sterilisation (same chance of not working as if BOTH parties have been steralised!). Plus only have to remember to have it replaced once every 3 yeras, would never remember a pill each day.

Why aren't your OH's work paying him?! They can't demand pay back for work he did - that's not legal!

What does belt and braces mean Birdie... you use both? My friend said they were using the 'Catholic method' when trying for a baby!

I know what you mean Tete, I swear the men they measured to make condoms fit were all soft and teeny! Horrible sight, like those matronly women in size 8 boob tubes in town on a saturday night, escaping everywhere - ewwww!

Heard from NIM this morning, had a phone call, might not speak to him again though as it's going to be a very long day for him. They've booked a sit down meal for 100, but apparently judging by the number of people who turned up to the removal they think they have underbooked by about 200 places! This is why you should always do a buffet!

aye belt and braces means two methods, like men who were so paranoid about loosing their trousers when belts were first introduced they still wore braces too! Commonly a lot of couples do this before marriage as they don't fully trust anything that works only 98% of the time, so condoms and pills it is!

What's the catholic method of trying for a baby?! Surely that's just straight sex?!

Basically yeah! Or 'hoping for the best' as she put it, but if you're trying then the best is a baby so I don't know if she was getting a bit confused!

I've never heard of a sit down meal at a funeral I have to say! Though according to my Irish friend (again), everyone goes to funerals, like she'd go to her friend's gran's funeral to support the friend, even if she didn't know the gran. Maybe that's what's happened. When does he come home? Ooh, I said home! He lives here!

I'm on the pill and he uses condoms when we remember. I know what you mean about the fit though, we've struggled to find the right ones. We only tend to use them at the end (ahem) of proceedings, more because they're clean IYKWIM! OH has a funny dislike of his 'seed' LOL! Oh dear, we're getting very far into the TMI bit now! Poor Cinny will wonder what's happened!

My first kiss was in the rugby stand at school, I think I was about 14. It was awful, I felt sick all day after it, he was such a sloppy kisser! Blegh! After that I didn't get any more kissing action until I was 17/18 and the other stuff came well after that! OH is only my 2nd 'partner' in that sense, I'm glad of that now but when I was a teenager it drove me mad that 'everyone' was getting some and I wasn't!

OH isn't getting paid because it is a sports injury and they don't pay for sports injuries as a general rule, at the manager's discretion, his manager hates him (for no particular reason!) so of course he's decided to not pay him! They haven't even asked him how he did it though, just assumed and went on hearsay! They paid him 'by accident' 2 weeks ago and have just asked for the money back now! I'm sending him to the CAB tomorrow to ask what he can do about this, surely he can offer to pay them back at £1 a week?

Legally I don't think they have a leg to stand on. If he is signed off by his doctor then it's no concern to them how he did it.

I was too wild when I was younger, went through a very bad patch when I was 20, broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years, found out my best friend had started seeing him a week later, bringing him into our flat when I was out, went out 6 or 7 nights a week, picking up strange men, hugely questioned my faith, I would love to say I had only slept with men I was in a commited relationship with, but for 8 months when I was 20, I didn't even ask their names half the time, certainly never a phone number. Much happier now though, at the end of the day one (okay Dinah, think of a clean word for it!) winky is the same as another, and its the emotional attachment that makes it special.
