Morning girls!
Well done at the gym last night Dinah, I get so bored after 10 minutes on any machine I never burn anywhere near 500 calories!
I was belly dancing last night and I'm still rubbish at it! We were dancing with sticks last night which was both scary (lots of women randomly spinning sticks around!) and fun! My legs always really ache at the end of the class though due to my pathetic underdeveloped muscles! I try to ignore the scary cracking noises when I wiggle my hips and legs about!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

And, more to the point, enjoyableThanks for that explanation, I've never heard it called Aunt Flo before!!!
Birdie you must be quite an advanced bellydancer - I did classes for a few months but never progressed to using sticks!! It's really good fun I think, it's a shame the classes stopped. My pilates teacher always seems really pleased when people's bones crack in class so maybe that's a good thing?
My quidco cashback and savings for the month have now appeared in my other account, bringing my total for the ISA to £1843, so that'll be £2000 to go in in April, not quite the £2600 I was aiming for but not bad nonetheless
A to-do list as long as my leg today (yes, longer than my arm) so will see you girlies in a bit, hope you're all well this frosty morn!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I've only been going for about 6 weeks but the teacher likes to give us props to play with; a couple of weeks ago we were dancing with veils which was possibly more dangerous than sticks as we kept getting caught up in them and falling over! I'm surprised she brought the sticks again this week, last week I was spinning it a bit energetically and it flew out of my hand and hit my SIL!Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »My quidco cashback and savings for the month have now appeared in my other account, bringing my total for the ISA to £1843, so that'll be £2000 to go in in April, not quite the £2600 I was aiming for but not bad nonetheless

haha, belly dancing sounds fun! No classes around here like that I don't think.
I just got a top to wear out on Friday - going out for a meal then to the cinema. Only £12 from asda, looks a bit cath kidson-ish. They have some really sweet bits on their g21 range. Really quirky.
Had a massive 'row' with OHs mum yesterday, admittedly through OH, she was getting really fussy about us going to cornwall with them, the caravan is booked sat - sat and they weren't going down until sunday. They're having to take OH brother (my age) with them because they can't 'trust' him to be home alone. Blummin' annoying! I have a feeling me and OH are going to be left to babysit as it is. So she kicked up this massive fuss, OH was getting stressed so we decided to change bookings and go down a week later. All sorted and I was ready to ring this morning and she turns around and says 'we'll just take another car' fricks sake! I knew OH said she was bad but this is stupid, I'm not going to be walked all over just because she wants to go to a dog show. Jeez! On the bright side, now me and OH will get 2 days at the site without his family. Sorry for the ramble! Needed to vent a little
*edit*
oooh, and I've done the cake, will upload the picture when i get to work for anyone who wanted to see it! Doesn't look too bad i guess0 -
She sounds quite annoying I have to say, still, if you're getting a couple of days to yourselves that's great! Do show us the cake!!!
*edit* And now I've seen a cardie I want on the George website :rolleyes:Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Morning all, late first post from me as I've been applying for the ING saver account for NIM and I to get the cashback before the offer ends. Easy £40!
I don't get bored on the cross trainer because I watch the TVs at the same time, I get there so I have 15 mins of Britain's Best dish (just in time to watch the pudding section), then 30 mins of The Simpsons! Wierdly I don't get bored in pilates either, but that's because I find it so relaxing trying to get each muscle moving exactly right.
I'm glad it's made your AF a bit irregular too Lara, I actually just went to talk to the doctor about it as I found it unnerving to get a bit of spotting and things despite just getting a new implant, and I got a suprise pelvic and swabs and smear test etc! Apparently everything looks good though!
I was 'good' in my wild phase, always used condoms despite hating them, but then I didn't want to be emotionally close to these men anyway, it was more like a drug I needed a hit of to feel good about myself, but NIM and I got tested so we didn't have to.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Your OH's Mum sounds like a pain! At least you'll get a couple of days on your own with him though, funny how you're old enough to stay in a caravan with your BF but his brother who's the same age isn't old enough to be left alone in the house!
I want to see the cake! But I may not get to see it because work blocks all photo hosting/blogging/networking sites so I'll have to look at it when I can get online out of work! OH still hasn't organised broadband or phoned BT to activate our phone line.
Off to have a nosey at the George website!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Good morning!
We def want to see the cake Cinnysounded really cool
It seems to be a bit of a side-effect Dinah, although the Doc said it makes most people's AF's stop completely. That would have been amazing! Have to get it taken out in September, not sure about having another one. The injections sound really harsh tho... It's not easy being a woman!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

I've been thinking about having the implant or injection as I'm useless at remembering my pill, but I do like the predictability of the pill, I know that when I take my last one on Friday I'll be 'visited' on Monday so I can plan for it. If I knew that my period would definitely stop I'd get it done but I don't want irregular periods. I wish you just turn them off until you're ready to have a baby! It really is not easy being a woman! OH thinks he's got it bad because I'm out of action for a week and moan about belly ache, he has no idea what we have to go through!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Mine are very regular to the start of the implant, its the last year that it goes haywire. At the moment it's a 40-42 day cycle, quite light which is nice. It's just very light spotting a couple of times a month I thought should get checked out, but again, apparently it's normal. I tried the injection in my late teens, I was such a monster on it my mum politely told me if I didn't find something else to take I should probably stay at my uni accomodation throughout the year as my moods upset my brother, and I was so morose she kept thinking I was going to throw myself off something. Stopped taking it and became human again! I love only having to remember something once every 3 years.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
