Birdie - wow Jimmy Choo's, what I wouldn't do for a pair (I couldn't possible post it here).

I thought that I may have been able to pay one of my CC's off today about £180 but had forgotten about a deposit for center parcs next easter. It was a bargain, usually school holidays are really dear but they have made a mistake with next easter and the prices are still cheap for the first week or so. I managed to get 6 adults, 1 child, new baby and the dog for less than £500.:j

    Very good deal ROTE!

I'd love some Jimmy Choos, I'm totally dreaming about having some for my wedding but I'll probably end up with BHS shoes!

I do have a fancy shoe money box; if I save 50p a day in it I may have enough money in there for the JC's by my wedding! Ooooh idea!

That's a good idea Birdie! I'm terrible with money pots, I've broken into my terramundi twice.

Going shopping (yes, again!) with mum this afternoon. I always have weeks like this, I save really well then have a week in which I go completely crackers. Thankfully I haven't bought anything I regret or touched my savings. Will be back on form next week, I think I should let myself 'enjoy' my pennies a bit more. As long as I don't ''borrow'' from my savings anywhoo!

That is a very good deal ROTE! You'll have a fab time! And good idea about the shoe box Birdie, are you going to try it?

I'm going to try for another NSD today after getting off to a good start yesterday. Staying in over lunchtime to do a review, the only thing I have to pay for is a swim and that's not included. Now that the weekend's spends, savings, rent etc have settled down, I can see I have £520 to last til the 26th. That's about £22 per day - surely that's doable?! I'm also hoping to at least sort Paris travel, if not hotel... don't want to spend morre than about £250 on that so that leaves £270 = £11 per day... Sorry thinking out loud there, the upshot is, I need to not spend much!!!

Hope everyone's well this morning! :D

I think I will try it! I love having money boxes, I used to have them all over with different types of coins in saving for different things! I did used to put £1 coins in my shoe money box and it did actually pay for a pair of fab Nine West shoes last summer! The woman in the shop did not seem too happy with 60 £1 coins! LOL!

You should manage your budget no problem Tete! £11 a day is certainly do-able, good luck! And enjoy your money Cinny! You may as well have some nice things whilst you can afford them!
