How true! Even some of the people I work with are useless. They seem to think that they'll be first out the door when it comes to redundancy time (something to look forward to!) that they've given up caring now instead of working harder to prove that they're worth keeping!
Saying that, I could work harder but my little projects are so dull and repetetive that I can never get motivated to work hard! But I haven't got anyone asking me for results every day so I don't need to be super sharp!
I wish I could jam something super sharp up my solicitor's you-know-what! :eek:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
It's atrocious Birdie, at this point I'd have told them to stuff their flat - then written a letter to the vendors telling them exactly why you pulled out!
That would be tempting if you hadn't fallen in love with the flat, but otherwise it's a cut-off-nose-spite-face type situationAh, I feel for you Birdie!

I wanted to but we'll lose too much money if we pulled out.
ETA: Tete's hit the nail on the head too, we really like our flat and just want to be in!
I'm calm about it because I've gone beyond mad. There's no point shouting at the idiots because they don't listen. They're too far away to see in person or I would have gone in and smashed their overpaid faces into their desks! OH is no good as he gave up caring a month ago so there's just lil ol' me chasing it. If I lost it it would never get sorted.
The really funny thing is that today just before I got off the phone the idiot said to me 'Can I just confirm where you got the funds from to pay us?'. Where do you think you !!!!!? I go a-!!!!!ing on a weekend and sell crack to kids outside of school!
Ahem... that's not me being very calm is it? Ohm.... calm thoughts... ohm... happy thoughts...Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Very good idea! I'll take that advice!
