The ultimate incentive to get debt free, can I do it by New Years?

The housing market is such a nightmare. Poor Birdie, I can't believe you're not moved yet, but I'm sure I'm it will be worth it when you're living out of boxes in your own place
We bought a flat last year and there are still a few boxes hidden under the bed and in the shed and behind the sofa and... you get the picture!
We bought at the best time or the worst time depending on how you look at it. I know that our flat will have lost value, but if we'd have waited then we probably wouldn't have been able to get a mortgage and we're very lucky to be on a 2yr tracker so our payments have gone down a lot over the last few months. Ugh, money talk!
Quick change of subject needed - I love the M&S sushi too, especially those little boxes - surprisingly filling!
ps. Hi NIM - how's life in lovely England with the lovely Dinah?LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -

A girl I work with moved into her house about 18 months ago and the boxes have become such a fixture that she now dusts them as part of her housework routine!
Cinny, I don't seem to think wedding dresses are much cheaper than house deposits!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
We'd need to save about £60-£70k for our 'average' dream house, so we're in a much worse boat!
NO MORE WEDDING TALK! Gets NIM marriage-horny...... then I get scared..... then we fight!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Brill on the bed Dinah, don't spend it all at once! End of the month looms, I just did a little excited squeal when I found £15 lurking in amongst the receipts in my purse!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
