I read girlie mags too, mostly for the fashion. I'm not a super fashionable dresser but I love looking at clothes and bags and shoes. I've always loved clothes, I have countless books about costume from the 1700's onwards, I was the last of my friends to give up Barbie because she was my personal fashion model and then I started to collect the high end Collectable Barbies when I was in my teens (and I can't get rid of them now! OH is not happy that they're coming with me!). Thats a little too much info with regards to my geekiness, I'm baring everything today! Anyway, I read the mags and drool over the Louboutin shoes and Chanel bags and tell myself, 'One day!'. Even that is beyond my co-workers though, they haven't even heard of Hermes, never mind understanding why someone would pay over £2k on one of their bags!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
This is my brothers idea of them from this morning 'It tastes like chocolate powder sprinkled on a crisp then dunked in pepper.' Such a way with words that one.
10 minutes to go! Best get on with a bit of work in that case.0 -
Urgh the Builder's Breakfast one was horrible, egg should not be on a crisp!
Ewww, I don't think I want to try that!
And I forgot to say what a great deal you got too! Good luck with the Dooyoo/Camera plan! :TOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

My sister has a Chanel bag, it's amazing! Everyone says 'a bag's a bag' but it's worth paying all that money as it is gonna last you into you're a Granny. I'd love a MiuMiu bag personally, the Matellasse tote! *sighs*

Hmmm sudden thought, don't know how amenable OH would be to this, but I've realised the gym membership is all coming out of my account for the year, and the holiday went on 'his' CC. The holiday is exactly = 10 months membership. If he paid off the holiday now (well, when his cheque clears), I could pay off his membership for the next ten months and the money I would have put towards the holiday could go off the debt, and he wouldn't have to worry about finding the money when he has variable wages until December or January. Although, I think this would mean he wouldn't have enough to pay off my CC and fill his ISA allowance so mine stayed full, but again, it could go to filling that ISA so we make the most of our allowance then go back to clearing the debt once the second ISA is filled.... grrr it gets complicated when you're a couple but not formally committed, but both want to make the most of your money!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Actually that might not be a bad plan. We'd need to formally work it out, but since Grandad remains quite anti to me overpaying him, and my OD is entirely 0% until June, it would make sense to try to fill the ISAs before the end of the tax year.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

My Mum's got a Prada and her face lights up whenver she uses it, it is worth the money IMO! I've seen a Marc Jacobs that I want, there's a designer shop in Harrogate and whenever I go I have a stroke and a drool! I blame SATC for my love of labels too. I've got them all on DVD and lent them to my SiL who is really not interested in spending money on clothes and shoes (farmer's daughter!) and she's now obsessed with owning more shoes and bags! :rotfl:My brother is not happy! My OH is even less happy about my dream of walking down the aisle wearing Louboutins or Manolos! I'll wear a cheap dress if I can have the shoes!
Your plan seems like a good one Dinah, from what I can get my head around!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
