Ooh, lovely! I was there in December and it was amazing - snow on top of the mountains but really sunny and beautiful. We were actually looking at a tiny hotel up in the mountains (near Ronda) as a possible wedding venue. I heart Spain. sigh. Plans are on hold at the moment while I battle with my debts, which I still haven't been brave enough to put in my sig!

Fantastic and the hotel sounds beautiful. I got married in Barcelona and it was the best day!!! In fact the people that are getting married in Mijas decided to get married in Spain because they could see how relaxed our wedding was. I have a love affair with Spain as well. If you need any advice about getting married over there send me a PM. I would be happy just to chat about it as well! Defo want to go to Ronda, it is supposed to be beautiful.

It is quite hard to put your sig up at first but no-one is here to judge you. Look at my sig and how I have been going on about hols. Not one of these nice people have given me a hard time about going on a holiday while still in debt. I find the sig thing very motivating because it I love to see it going down. I think Dinah would agree with me there!

Yes to Cuba, it would be amazing. And a great time to see such a unique place as it may well be much changed by American influence once the power of Castro wanes.

Sounds like you've got great plans CMD - I'm stuck at home too, Poddle x

Agree with you about the Castro thing! Have great plans in my head but it's trying to pay for them that is the problem. I would also like to do some voluntary work in South America but again would prefer 2-3 months rather than 2 weeks. It's a shame most of life comes down to money!

If it didn't come down to money, I guess we wouldn't all be here :) You're right of course, tomorrow I'll do my signature - eek!

Had a bit of an arguement with OH on the phone.
He told me what he'd told his mum and basically made me sound like a royle a rse. Men! Then I was trying to talk it out with him he kept on going quiet and huffy. So you don't want to stay in a Cottage? No. Is there a hotel nearby? No B&B? Yep. Could we stay there? No, it looks scruffy. Any caravans for hire on site? No.
So I said bye and hung up, can't deal with him when he's like that, text him asking for the campsite name, looked it up online and would you have it they have caravans! So seeing how much they cost now. Like Birdie, Kenya believe it? :D

Tapas was nice, but not as good as last time, and not spectacular to be honest. NIM had more balls than me and decided to follow Cinny's lead and offer our spare voucher to a party of 7 out celebrating a retirement, and they already had one! Moneysavers get everywhere!

I remember afew Christmas' ago a lovely lady in the queue behind me in a clothes shop gave me a 40% off voucher, I could have kissed her....not sure she will ever offer another voucher after that experience:rotfl:

We've both caved, I've sent off to see how much a caravan on site will be but set myself a £220 limit, anything over and we're camping. I do have a book called happy campers so I'm going to go relax on the sofa with that before Skins comes on.
Most of my complaints are very vain - namely no hairstraighteners and I look like an angry viking if its left be - and I suffer from Trichotillomania (they did a quick segment on it on that weird illness C4 show, I don't know if its a disorder or a habit but I pull my eyelashes out *watches posters back away* I have done since I was about 9 but I'm getting better, I just don't want OH's family to see me without my makeup! Just have to bite the bullet I suppose!

No one will judge here poddle, but I would have nowhere near as much momentum if I didn't have my little banner there showing how well I'm doing, I'm competative like that, even if it is only with myself.

WE'RE GOING TO SEE CAMELS! 2 weeks in the Sharm Inn Amarein booked and paid for. Was a little more than the one I found, but for the £32 differrence it looks another world. The pics on the review sites show some amazing towel art, and they do pool side massages, have a sauna, jaccuzi and gym etc. The other one one of the reviewers wrote 'do not get a massage in a treatment room, only poolside, and even then don't cover with a towel, just wear swimwear, the massuses like to give you a very rounded 'service' - make sure their hands don't wander if you don't want them to'. So went for the place that sprinkle fresh flowers on the bed and do towel art! Astonishing thing is I will have almost enough money left on payday to pay my half, the £140 I usually pay off my debts will go to round off the money.

Also went and we joined the gym, have our induction on Sunday. They wouldn't negotiate on price at all, got a few extra day passes, but that is all. Looking forward to starting classes next week, and also going to do a bit of a work out on Sunday after the induction, need to get bikini fit in 6 weeks. Ideally need to loose like 3lb a week before the holiday, a bit unrealistic, but 2lb a week is do-able right?!

Forgot to do my phone MS shop in all the excitement tho!

Great news that you joined the gym, shame they wouldnt negotiate at all on the price, but at least you will be happy with your body again - especially important when going on holiday!

Going on the 29th March, so a few weeks to look forward to it yet. And to buy a bikini. And to fit into said bikini. But yes, very, very excited!
