Would you like to go there as well Lara? It is at the very top of my list but would like to go there for a month and do it in style! I am also not a camper and love my boutique hotels!

I'd love love love to go to Cuba, but I agree that I'd want to go for more than a fortnight and see everything! I can't understand people going to places like Cuba for an all-inclusive package and never leaving the hotel - drives me crazy!!

I am the exact same Poddle!!! Don't get me wrong I would like a few nights in one of the nice hotels but the rest of the time I would love to go around small towns and villages, speak Spanish and get to know the real Cuba, not the one shown in the brochure!!!

It is in Mijas. We are thinking of going around the south then for a couple of weeks. We were thinking of getting the ferry over to Morocco but would like to do that separately. Another plan I have is for us to fly to Mallorca as that island looks amazing but again we could probably do that again on a weekend break or something.

Ooh, lovely! I was there in December and it was amazing - snow on top of the mountains but really sunny and beautiful. We were actually looking at a tiny hotel up in the mountains (near Ronda) as a possible wedding venue. I heart Spain. sigh. Plans are on hold at the moment while I battle with my debts, which I still haven't been brave enough to put in my sig!

I'd love to go to Morocco too. I went on a day trip from Spain when I was quite little - I don't remember it at all, but there's a photo of my brother and me on a camel so it must be true!

Yes to Cuba, it would be amazing. And a great time to see such a unique place as it may well be much changed by American influence once the power of Castro wanes.
