When I move out I want a dog called Colin or Terrance. My sister is after another dog to call Monty. But we already have 5, we don't need any more!

Dinah, this might not make you feel better but I do that too. Don't feel bad about being excited, that's what makes it fun!

I do that too! Hope you enjoy Date Night! I think I'm going to BF's uncles house tonight as he's had a knee replacement and BF wants to know that there is life after knee operations as he found out that his dislocated knee has caused more damage than we feared- ruptured cruciate ligament, torn medial ligament and damage to the cartilage under his knee so he's going to have a lot of work done on it and a lot of rehab! Poor thing. It is so typical that he's done this; the week before he did it we were talking about buying walking boots and going on long walks on Sundays as we'd been on a few walks and really enjoyed it! We are not known for our good luck, just look at the delays with the flat! :rolleyes:

My friend has cockateils (Sp?) called Pauline and Terence after her parents. And a friend of a friend has a great big tomcat called Frank. My fantasy football team is called Colin

Birdie, that sounds SO painful, your poor OH! My knees are cringing at the thought of it!!

Frank for a tomcat is cute! We have a tarantula called Larry (full name Larry 8 legs) and an African land snail called Umbongo tik-tik.

I didn't name them! Ask my mother.
We do have a lot of pets, we always have so it doesn't seem that many to us. We're known for taking in scraggy pets, our dogue de bordeaux was given to us because she was unwanted as a pup, my kitty Dinah was saved from the 'bag treatment' we took in a stray for the winter too called Oscar but he's moved on now.

Oh don't talk about the bag treatment, it upsets me!! Must be brill having animals all over the place, I'd love it. My cats follow me all over like little doggies and I love that. My dad thinks it's creepy how they just like to sit and look at me but I say it's because they adore me so much!

No more talk of the bag treatment, makes me get angry sad and sick all at once.
Mine follow be about too, quite creepy sometimes as I'll be doing something and turn around and she's there. I love the fact in my house you've always got a furbaby nearby - which means I'm never really talking to myself.

I was on the contact list for a woman who rehomes rescued kittens, I was meant to be getting another little black cat last year (named him Tito!) but my old cat George got run over so I decided I didn't want to risk it with the new kitten so thankfully we got him another home. Just glad my two are mainly housecats!

You're making me jealous with all of your animals! All of which have really cool names (I especially love Larry 8 Legs and Umbongo Tik Tik!) I've never had anything bigger than a hamster and I'd love a cat to keep me company but I think the flat's a bit small so it'll have to wait.

We're getting closer to a date, but nothing yet. Got the solicitors calling me in a bit after I rang and gave them a good telling off for being useless! I'm getting so sick of everyone involved blaming each other and wasting time, it's not what I need now with OH's problems!

They really seem to be dragging it out, you'd think they'd be wanting quick turnovers in the housing market! What was it that happened to your OH's knee? For some reason I think it's because of rugby!

Grandad gave me another £20 tonight, towards my glasses this time, getting very suspicious of the lad now. Can't think of anything to do tonight, just flicking about aimlessly. Could do some money making I suppose..
