Hey hey everyone
I'm another size 12 here. Currently supposedly dieting but ate a middle sized bar of cadbury's chocolate to myself today (whoops) as phd proposal not going so well.
Need to shed a few pounds to squeeze back into my formal dress as OH and me are going dancing to hotel in Cornwall in the Spring (my Xmas pressie). Not trying very hard, LOL
No gym for me as I'm always skint, and secretly I am a bit scared of gym equipment. (Also hospital / Drs) - silly!

Hi Dinah,
Just popping in to see how you got on at the gym? Did you manage to get a good deal?Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Urgh. Gym were liars. The £300 saks vouchers were in fact discount vouchers, we basically said to the guy we came down 85% sure we were going to sign, but this felt like an underhanded tactic and we were not getting the deal we thought we were. So he's going to talk to his manager tomorrow and call us back tomorrow. So lets see what deal they offer us then.
I'm actually quite upset about it, feels like I've been holding out for this so I can feel like me again without going off on a harsh diet, and now I might not get it. NIM would leave me if I got back into the eating patterns I used to have (1/2 a wholemeal ham sandwich, an apple, a satsuma and a fat free yoghurt a day anyone?) so this seemed like the best way to loose some weight. Fingers crossed they give me the offer that makes him happy tomorrow.
OH's cheque from Ireland is going to take 4-6 weeks to clear! How mad is that! So we're having to take the money to buy the car off my credit card, which is stressful as I liked the nice £0 balance, and put his insurance and all on that. This lead to a horrible 'if i die' conversation.
Mystery shop went okay, kinda shattered though but NEED to fill in the report, so doing that before bedtime.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sorry to hear about the gym, that is rubbish!! But then again he might ring you back with a good deal 2moro if people arent really taking out memberships anymore. So got my fingers crossed for you!!
4 - 6 weeks for a cheque to clear??!!! Why? Its only coming from Ireland!! That is crazy.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Maybe they will offer you some free personal training sessions with your membership? I got a couple when I joined David Lloyd and they are a really good idea as they help you establish a varied workout rather than just sticking to the same machines.
I must admit that I love DL- it is definitely one of my treats. I got a good deal through the company I worked for- maybe worth checking if your employer gets any corporate deal with them as it saved me £20 a month (I worked for a bank at the time, but my OH is a policeman and they also get the discount).:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
He asked what we did, would have hoped he would have told us if we qualified. Couples membership comes out at £56 each per month I think it was, which isn't awful, but I want my deal sweetened please!
Just managed to nap some MS meals, one on each Wed from the 25th Feb through to March 18th, so that's date night sorted for us for a few weeks.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi Dinah,
If it isn't too late get your OH to do an international money transfer.I transferred money from an Irish account last week and it took about a week!!!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
DFD:Nov 22/June 22
Mortgage: €199,712
MFD: March 2042/July 20340 -
Which site is that you get most of your MS meals from? If its from retail eyes i will PM you (i think its that one you said you get money from for referral?) as OH and i have decided we are going to have a go at MS:D
I know what you mean about the gym. OH and i have been wanting to join for quite a while but i just bring myself to part with the cash, just keep thinking what else it could go towards!
You never know they might ring you 2moro with a better deal!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
