Have you read that 'How I lived on £1 a day' book? I think your DF journey would be an amazing book if written a bit like that. More like a diary than 'make money' kind of thing. Plus you could drop selling on eBay ect into it where it fits, and you have this thread to draw back on to get dates and orders of things.0

It is a good read, makes you think a bit really. Although I couldn't do it myself! Although I was thinking about living the rest of this year on as little as I can manage - just like a self challenge. But then I thought, who am I kidding? I'd do really well for a month then kick myself being a tight bum and spend too much then feel bad so try living on as little as I can.. and so on and so forth.
Seems like you have the MS things rolling in, still impressed with your Feb £10 challenge. I don't even make that a month!0 -
Lol you see this is where some of my debt came from, I don't consider £600 much money, I make roughly treble that per month after tax, before student loan and pension comes out of my salary. Even when I was younger I worked 35 hours a week in a pub alongside my GCSEs and A-levels, up to 55 hours a week in the holidays, and ran an ebay business, so I've never really earned less than £800 per month.
Even now when I do surveys and reviews for pennies, I can't stop thinking 'well it's only £30, I won't even notice it'. So I need challenges so I have something to aim for and don't just not notice it all trickling away!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

It's alright for someI know what you mean though.
That's my problem, lack of drive! You seem pretty determined when it comes to getting what you want, where as I loose interest after a while. If I pushed myself more I know I could squeeze more hours out of the company, get a few more things running for it but I'm a lazy git sometimes. I think I'll start a spreadsheet tomorrow for work to get a few ideas going.0 -
I'm very determined, some may say stubborn, but I tell them to sod off!
I just have an attitude of I only get one shot at my life and I don't want to sleep through it, so I want to enjoy it, and get as much out of it as I can. So if something helps me get towards that goal, I can be very demanding.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Very good quote there!
I can see myself getting really into the company over the next year or so, I've been getting on great this week while the other office girl isn't here. It's horrible to say but when she's here I seem to get brushed under the carpet and treated like a teenager, but when i've been here full time I've blended into it all a bit better. Been given a few more high profile kind of jobs to do!0 -
I wish I was more like you Dinah! I'm too lethargic, I do so little on an evening and it seems to fly by; BF asks what I've been up to and I can't think of anything! I have 2 massive boxes of stuff to ebay but I just can't be bothered!
I was going to say I'd do some tonight but it is Belly Dance night so I can't! Oh dear, there's always an excuse! LOL!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
You can't be that lethargic if you belly dance! I'm kinda excited about the gym tour, I'm really looking forward to getting fit again. I'm just terrified he's going to say a big scary number we can't afford. I don't really want to go without OH, but I do need to join as I can't afford to replace all my 8s with 12s!
Glad the job is looking up Cinny.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
