  • You have a Hillman Imp?!?!?! (I don't think there's a smiley for green-with-envy)

Is it a Dooyoo voucher? No I don't think that counts as a spend, you've only ever had it in the form of a voucher so it's not really money is it?

Well, my mother does called Colin, he's still perfect condition from the 70s! He's a pain in the backside though.

It was a dooyoo voucher, I think I'll class it as a no spend. I think I've still got some of it as credit on my account aswell, so I can't complain!
  • Ah does it work like that? If you're only buying something for £6, there's £4 left in your account? I haven't redeemed anything yet so not sure how it works. I've been looking on Amazon this morning at a few things I liked the look of from the Baftas last night!

I think so! I just pretend bought something and it took off the remainder of my voucher off. A bit confused as to why I have jacqueline wilson books on me 'what you might like' section though!

Feeling under the weather today, got a cold I think. Waiting for all the time sheets to come in so I'm editing some photos of me and OH for my scrapbooks. Got some amazing wool yesterday - 500g for £5! - all hand spun hand dyed stuff, afew knitting patterns to spruce up my wardrobe in time for summer and went a bit crazed on the £1 craft stall, managed to find some lovely Laura Ashley scrap booking things as well as much needed glue and new scissors. Spent £20 in all with dinner, and managed to read most of my book on the bus.

Can't believe you spent so little Cinny! I'd have gone spending mad as usual! :rotfl: There's a Papercraft Extravaganza in Harrogate in March (I think) and just the name -EXTRAVAGANZA!- makes me excited!:T I'll have to make some room for more stuff, just had a clear out for moving but now I've got loads of empty boxes that need to be filled! (And I just bought a Cropodile on Saturday! Sssh, BF doesn't know!)

I'm very happy that NIM is here for good Dinah! It seemed like it was going to take forever when you started this but now he's here! Doesn't time fly?!

  • Do Dooyoo Amazon vouchers come in the post??? I've just redeemed my points and had an email saying that voucher is on its way - does that mean by email or post? I haven't put my address in you see as I'd assumed it would be a code... Help!

It'll come by email, i don't know why they ask for your email! I think that's for when you request your £50 cheque? You should get it by thursday, at least I think that's when they dish them out.

A cropodile is for punching holes and putting eyelets in, isnt it? I had a mental moment of you having a pet crocodile, trying to hide it in a box of books! Do you have your day for moving in yet? I had my budgeting head on yesterday - Nearly bought some pretty grey wool to make a vest with but I stopped myself! (although £7 for 700g I'm kicking myself now)

Quick update from me as I'm utterly shattered, OH is back, here for good and it's fantastic. Spent all day today tidying my room to fit him in, then baking for work. Haven't sat down and now need to sleep. Will update tomorrow have actually had a very exciting weekend, although again it got away from me and the moneymaking isn't going very quickly, much to my dispair, although OH and I have had a few money talks and budget decisions. See you in the morning x
