I did add it up when I first made them, completely forgotten now!! It was a lot though.
Creme eggs have about 180 in them, and Jaffas 46 or something (why do I know all this?!)0 -
I think it's unhealthy to count calories... so I don't!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I don't count them, I just have them stored somewhere! I'm a nerd for numbers so I read the back of packs, must of remember them.
Got a call from my mum to say the Abbey letter is finally here. So I can log into it tonight and finally have savings, check me out! I'm a young woman of savings and stuff like that. Plus I've got a free tuna sandwich for dinner, today feels like a good day.0 -
Yay! Finally! It feels good to have savings and be able to watch them mount up. That said, I think I might pop into town at lunchtime, partly to see the bank about cancelling the overdraft that I didn't ask for and am now being charged for, and partly to have a look at a top I saw the other week... Or I might decide to have my first NSD of the month...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

That sounds like a fantastic challenge Tete. I got a letter last night from David LLoyd saying if I join before 15th Feb I get 4 weeks tennis lessons, a backpack, a session with the personal trainer, a personal fitness programme, and £300 saks vouchers! Very tempted, I get my eyebrows done at Saks and that would cover me for the entire year, with £100 left over for a couple of facials or massages or something, effectively cutting the cost of the gym membership by about 45%. Going to book to have a look around next week.
More news on the Naked Irishman front, he's been called for an interview for a second job doing office admin for a construction firm (what credit crunch?!), he's thinking he'll take it if offered as all his earnings till end of March will be tax free as he won't cross the threashold, so two jobs totalling about 50 hours a week would make a nice start on the house deposit/his PGCE course fund.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

If you're still wanting a top you saw a week ago you have to buy it! Call it Kates Rule, it's what I go by. I have 4 days left to go on a topshop t-shirt I have my eye on, if it's still there on monday it's mine.0

Me and the Naked Irishman will have the same job then! Would be a good idea for him to go for it - another good way for him to settle into English life by getting friendly construction banter. Fingers crossed for his interview if he takes it.
That sounds like a good deal on the Gym membership, even I'd be tempted by that! You two are going to be all sporty and gym/swimming chic while I thunder about on a treadmill in a darkened room watching antiques roadshow.
And it's still snowing, how's the weather up in the north?0 -
It's started snowing about 2 hours ago and it's really really heavy here. Laying thick and fast.
I'd rather be on the treadmill with a telly in the darkened room tbh!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Smattering of snow from what I saw when I went into a room with windows to make the tea.
Ah but I haven't tried it on yet, that's the real test. Like those boots I was coveting for MONTHS, but which were completely sold out all over the country in my size - when they finally came in and I tried them on I hated them.
Sounds like a good deal on the gym, and a good excuse for a little treat every now and then. I get a really good deal on the gym facilities and classes at work, it's like £6.50 a month for all the gymming/classing I want - really should make more use of it. I've just booked myself in for a massage on my birthday next Thurs, that's only £13 for 45 mins, I love working in a uni for all the subsidised perks and the NUS card
**edit** Just been past another window and it's now snowing lovely-ly with big fat flakes but not laying. Where are you Dinah Sedgefield or somewhere? OH will be getting it up in Durham if you are I should think, bless his little fur-lined boots.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I just got an email from soap and glory with a £2 off voucher to be used on anything, minis are £2.20 so you could get their body scrub (really good!) for 20p. If anyone wants it let me know and I'll forward you the email.
Right, off for my dinner and to ring the bank to see how much I can move over into savings tonight.0
