God you two give men much more credit than they deserve! He's buying it at the airport, don't get much more last minuite than that! If women were this disorganised the human race would have died out!

This whole 'you're causing the recession by not spending' lark our prat or a PM is spouting makes me really angry. People and the government being reckless with a money and rellying on credit not planning for a rainy day is what got us here!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Tete, you're so right. The other day I went to Pizza Express with some friends and we had a spare voucher so I offered it to an older couple on the next table - they were so chuffed and I felt all warm inside! I really hope pizza express doesn't go bust, but who goes out without vouchers anymore?!
Dinah, I bet you're just itching to leave work now. Even if I haven't seen OH over the weekend, I get all jumpy and excitable when he's due back. I hope you have a lovely weekend away and a fantastic birthday! 24 is nothing, just think how different your situation is now compared to when you turned 23. Amazing!

Yesterday I told OH what I honestly want for my birthday - a £5 polka dot baking dish from lakeland - I got told off for it costing too little!
Will have a kitkat at grandmas tonight! Thankfully I have no work to do so used my shaking energy to do a dooyoo review.
I still think your OH could be throwing you off the scent, maybe. Maybe he's buying you a big toblerone, not earrings?0 -

I hadn't thought of it this way but you're right. I'm in a much better place in every respect.
Sorry Cinny, I started thinking of the weight of hanging toblerones from my ears! Earrings are a lovely gift, I just wish I didn't know what I'm getting, surpise is half the fun. Plus he'll have spent more than £5 on them, so I won't dare wear them outsideDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I fancy a toblerone now.. I'm such a foody.
I'm sure he'll get you something lovely, but after him showing up early for christmas and picking you up from your works christmas do I can't help but think he'll do something off the cards!0
