I don't believe he's actually real and that I'll see him at 4.30. I get like this when we've been apart a while, I stop feeling like he's actually my boyfriend, and I can get all distant when he phones too, it's wierd. I need the physical him to believe in him - he's kind of like the yeti or nessie.

I'm the same with OH, when I see him at the weekends I feel like proding him and going 'so you are real!' we get so caught up in work and doing our own thing during the week we hardly speak, although we're in constant contact. It's weird to explain!

Have fun on your date night later on, and your weekend break. You deserve it!

Aww. I have a friend whose boyfriend works offshore for a couple of weeks at a time and she says they're like that. He even apparently starts to get distant a few days before he's due to go back, almost pushing her away so he won't miss her I guess. Is it your birthday this weekend too?

Yup I'm like that guy. OH is steady as a rock though, it's one of the things I love most about him.

Yes it's my birthday, OH is getting all squirmy cos he has no ideas for a pressie and is asking for my help. I sent him my amazon wish list 2 weeks ago, that's as involved as I get!

Ooooh and a possible bit of good news in OH career direction (and he needs it, been so long now!) he got a call from the OU to say they will let him on the course with his current qualifications. Now all he needs is for them also to say yes to letting him on this years one as a late starter rather than having to wait a year, and we're sorted!

OH has just text to say now he has been internet frauded and all his cards and accounts have been frozen! Yikes how unlucky are we? I guess pizza's on me tonight then!

That's great news for you OH! But not so good news for your OH, Tete. Hope he gets it sorted out!

I keep stuffing up at work today, shredded something I shouldn't off (I swear I didn't mean to, had a big pile to shread and it must of got caught up in that) and sent a job forward to invoice that isn't finished. :rolleyes: Sat here twitching refusing to touch anything else now.

Aw, bless him! Maybe he's got you something else, just trying to throw you off the tracks. OH still tries to do that. It doesn't work, he's been doing it for almost 4 years now!
