Urgh, do I stay or do I go? Want to go home at 4.30 to tidy up and I'm tired, but I should really be good and build up some flexi. Hmmmm. I can rationalise that I do have a lot to do tonight....Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Go! You can build up flexi tomorrow!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

No no, talk babies! I'm sat here nodding and thinking 'why do babies smell good?' and then 'maybe it's the johnsons powder, maybe I should try it'
Go home, be reckless! If you have a lot to do before OH comes over then go, but then if you work another 30 mins today then you should be okay to set off at 4 tomorrow, right? I don't have a clue how flexi works!
Thanks Tete! looking forward to getting cracking on the NSDs. Should be able to get about 4 next week with working full time. Will be able to add my £1,000 saving target once my account is open. Still waiting on what I hope is the last letter!0 -
Good for you Cinny. You sound determined! Are you saving for anything in particular? Have you decided what to get OH for his 21st?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Have you seen the state of my NSDs for January?! I just can't help myself! Might try for a more modest number for Feb I think...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I don't actually like baby smell. I think when I do, my maternal gene will have turned on and I'll be ready.
Got called into a meeting, gonna stay till 5.30 now. That'll build me an hour of flexi so fine to leave early tomorrow to try to pick OH up at the airport. Plus I need to finish my dooyoo review.
My boss and my old boss were the ones that called me into the meeting. I'm being lent to my old boss again for about half my working hours to do some documents for her, sounds quite interesting, but more than that it is designed to show me as multi-skilled for when the pencil pushers in accounting come to making cuts. All my team are being given other projects to seem valuable!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

It's good of them giving you other things, not just for alittle job security against the pencil pushers but it might make work more interesting for you!
3 days are better than none, Tete! But what on earth are NSL?
CMD - I want to save £1,000 to basically show my Grandad I can do it! He's always been telling me to save, and not be silly with my money like my brother and sister. I think I get my love of saving from him, he's very thrifty and always in his garden mending something or another! And for OH's 21st I think I'm going to go a head and get him the laptop, his has finally gone under, i'm not letting on that's what he's getting though. Sly as a fox, me!0 -
I got my first crown!!!! Not on a review I thought was especially great but hey, I'm not about to complain, a crown's a crown!
Wonder how long it is from nomination to being read by someone, that one is about a week old. Can't believe that book review got it, and my gideon mack one didn't, that was much better!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
