My brother has the Sony Vaio that comes in allll the colours and he got it in silver! I think he got it to match his mini but still.

That's an idea, I'll check the sony laptops for OH, make him feel like he's with his playstation when he's online.

I think the only colour I could get away with for OH would be blue. boring boring men. When I ring him tonight I'll just ask him 'Do you prefer normal or yellow?' and see what he says.

I think the blue one would be lovely for your OH. I think men like to be more discreet. Is this laptop meant to be a surprise? If so, I wouldn't say anything as it will be a great 21st birthday present for him!

Just found out the council next to mine has told their planners half of them will be made redundant on the 30th June unless the economy turns around substantially. That's scary. I'm really glad this debt is getting down. If I were told tomorrow I was to be made redundant I could still clear my CC before that happened, my family loan wouldnt expect anything off me until I was working again, and my OD is 0% until November, and even then £1000 will still be 0%. But I need to focus and really start on looking to have a second income through the invites or whathave you, so I have a bit of a revenue backup.

Yes, the whole credit crunch has become a bit scary. I have been told my job is safe but who knows in the long term. If I lost my job my OH would have to give up uni as I doubt we would get a loan. It has made me even more determined to get it right down in 2009.
