STP is Slice the Pie, there are 2 threads running on it on the up your income board, but basically it's a site where artists can upload a few tracks of their music, then users act as 'scouts' and rate and write a small review on the best music. There is also the option to finance artists you think will make it big. You get paid 5p per track once you have done around 50 tracks if your accuracy is high enough, and 8p once you get to 3 stars, then on to 10p at 4 stars. I enjoy it, so it's quite easy money, and since I listen to music when I'm on my home computer anyway, I might as well be paid for it, and possibly discover the next big thing. I tend to have it going on while I get dressed, or tidy up, or do my surveys or reports or what have you as I like to listen to a few mins of a track before I start to have an opinion unless it's the real awful hate-rap screaming about rape and child abuse. That's just unnessisary and gets an immediate telling off!

STP is great when it wants to be your friend, I normally have wordpad open when I'm listening to a track and type quick notes then piece it all together. The money does build up quickly when you're on about 3 stars but it's abit of a drag on 2 stars if you get downgraded! I made £15 on it in 3 days going on it an hour or so at a time.

You do better than me then Cinny! It took me over 2 hours to do 26 tracks the other night, and that's on 3 stars so £2.08. But then I do have a head full of wool at the moment. Even tried to send someone a book they had bought twice, and got paniced when I couldn't find it....

Hmm, most of my reviews are of the same template. I need to spice it up abit :D I use 'lovely' or 'magic' too much. Yep, I actually use the word magic. I come out with some right words on there, I think one time I actually put that the song made me want to get a mr whippy and sit on beach.

I only got 2 tracks yesterday! Got annoyed and told STP off.

I got told off on Monday for 'you have used a higher than average number of big words. That won't help the artist - give some constructive feedback!'. So I'm penalised for having a more expansive vocabulary than average? The cheek!

haha, some of the music can be so dull I bet the people behind it aren't the brightest sparks. Getting confused by your long words!

I've only ever got the 'you've used the same 3 words as in another review' I need a thesaurus!

I find it very hard to write something constructive to the rap, I just think 'I'm sure I've heard this already tonight'

They all do sound the same, dont they? I'm glad it's not just me. It's like a breath of fresh air when I get given a folky singer! I give them too much praise.

God I'm dizzy when I'm ill, just spent 5 mins trying to clean an annoying mark off my screen. That would be an apostrophe Dinah, no ammount of scrubbing makes it come off!

By the way, if anyone starts reading this diary now, at a staggering 59 pages and reads all the way to here, you deserve a gold star, a medal AND a pat on the back. Sorry for rambling, better get on and clear the debt quicker!
