Thanks all, makes me feel a little better about spending money on something that is a bit of a treat, not 100% needed. That said I feel guilty about how much I spend on petrol and 95% of that is just getting me to and from work, and doing site visits when there!

Morning! Feeling any better today Dinah?
Lost all work drive today. Shopping on asos instead (wooo) found a really nice dress for £10, I don't really need it, but it would be perfect for work. hmm, a red skirt I had my eye on has gone down to £14 too, tempting! I think I'm going to have to figure out how to ban some websites!0 -
I'm being good, sat at home at the moment as have a doctors appointment at 9.30. Knitting my OH his ever widening scarf!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Fingers crossed it's just a bug and nothing too bad! Glad to see you're (finally!) taking it easy.0

I'm still considering going into work after, OH thinks I need a day or two off, but even though I have nothing to do at work, I still feel I should go just to show I'm not a slacker.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I think you've shown your not a slacker by going in the past few days when you've felt completely rough. I'd go with what you OH says and spend a day at least in bed resting up.0

I'd stay off too Dinah if you feel as bad as you say. My colleague rang in sick this morning with this horrendous-sounding vomit bug she's caught from her boyfriend... he's had it all week and she's been coming into work, so now we're all really worried she'll have passed it on to us.
Thanks Cinny for reminding me about those dresses I'm watching on ebay, I'd forgotten all about them!

Sorry Tete!
I really want the dress but I know I shouldn't, can't class it as a treat either because I bought GHDs last week. I'll wait until tomorrow and see if I still want it.
The bug I had last week, we figured out, had an incubation of about a week. My mum caught it off someone in work on the last day who was sickly, hers kicked in boxing day then the rest of us were bed ridden the day after new years. And I think that was the big one going around that's been on the news, I don't think that's what Dinah has by the sounds of it though!0
