- Be good, and spend 1 hour doing 'relaxing' things like watching a film or in bed with my book, and alternate this with 1 hour of things that actually de-stress me like ticking things off my to do lists. FAIL! :rotfl:

Dinah, just wanted to say that I find Asda opticians very good value for lenses. The service is awesome and I quite often get sent links for 10% off my next order etc.
Well done on managing to do so much even though you're ill. Hope you feel better soon.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
I got sent a sainsburys contact promotion the other day, they were less than specsavers too. My opticians appointments are paid for by work so thats not a worry, but im determined not to be paying £22 a month for contacts!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

My sister get her contacts from specsavers and it's £22 a month too, she has Astigmatism so they have to be made to suit.
Hope you got to sleep in the end! Good luck with your list again today.
I've been getting addicted to Kevin Hill on E4 this past week, starts at 6 and makes a change to watching the news when I'm getting ready. Ooh, just noticed I'm about 3 reviews off my next voucher on amazon. Think I'm going to try getting a stash of amazon vouchers to use for birthdays ect. Is it possible to put them as credit on your account or something?
*edit* paid my weekly dues! Checked my bank and able to put £100 aside for OH's birthday. £300 to go!0 -
Morning all and happy Friday! Hope you're feeling better today Dinah and glad to see you got an early night...!
Well done Cinny, when's his birthday again?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
The start of March, the 5th! Then we have to spend 21 awkward days as a 21 year old going out with a 17 year old  Doesn't really bother me we've been on and off since I was 13! But I think it gets to him which is abit silly.
How long is it bronchtitis hangs around for? It sounds horrible!0 -
Hi Dinah,
Gosh, taking it easy doesn't come naturally to you, does it? lol.
Have you tried daysoftlenses.com? They're super cheap and it looks like a lot of the saving is due to packaging. I think the expensive bit of wearing contacts is the opticians check ups, so it's great that your work pays for that! I've used daysoft before and thought they were great, but probably not for everyone
