    Good morning everyone :hello:

Many apologies for being missing in action. The beginning of term has sapped most of my energy! :( Well, that and being busy....... It's still taking forever to whip my class into shape. I'm thinking that it might happen one day....

A belated happy birthday to Kaat Lady! :bdaycake:

I've been to four Jazzercise classes so far and I'm feeling a real benefit. There's another one tonight. Since we got back from holiday a month ago (where I'd put on half a stone!) I've actually lost half a stone, so I'm seeing a real boost in my energy levels generally. I'll never be a size 8, but I'm feeling really exhilarated. Oh, and I know a couple of names of fellow Jazzercisers at the class! :)

Right, I'd better go and set up for the day.

    Morning

Rzl - great clip! I really enjoyed it :D

Dazi - good luck with the new job

Pen-Pin - your avatar is making me hungry for cake!!!

Kaat Lady - Happy belated birthday

Feeling brighter today and certainly more organised. DW emptied, WM on and dry washing all folded. Did a pile of ironing yesterday so that's under control too. Kitchen, bedroom and bathrooms spick and span and going to have my cup of tea now.

I'm not in the slightest bored or lonely at home these days, but I can feel time starting to weigh a little more heavily now the weather isn't so nice. Anyway, through a yahoo knitting group I found when I joined Woooligans I've been invited to a local knitting meet up this afternoon. It's been organised by a young mum so I'll meet like minded people and meet other mums so I'm excited, if a little nervous. Plus it's getting me to pick up those needles again, which is great.

Feeling all OS today - no dinner to make as out at a friends house (bliss), so think I'll take some twinks hobnobs to take with me to knitting x

  • Morning everyone, damp and dark here today, did 6 loads of washing yesterday and struggling to get them dry, did have to resort to TD for a few things as airer is groaning under the weight! Got first electric bill since price rises and they want to put my monthly payments up by £21 a month to £55, going to do a meter reading this morning as this was an estimate. Gas to come in next so we will see what shock that brings. Spent last night listing on ebay, two have bids on already so a good start! Off to Asda today, lets see if any of their promised price reductions are on yet.
Lunch today will be pasta, chicken and bacon and i've made a big pan full of lentil, chicken, curry soup very tasty, even DH liked it, he had a bowlful at 1.30am when he came in from work!!
    Have a good day everyone
    BSB xx

Good morning everyone, grey and cloudy here, but has been like this the last few days and then the sun has shone brightly.

Was feeling poorly yesterday, think I got the kids' bug, but a lot of sleep, in between cleaning and swapping sick bowls for the kids, helped! ds now has the bug too!

Not done a lot really, did find some bargains at Mr T's, unbelievable that I work there and never see any mega reductions, but this time I got two big bags of flat mushrooms for 7p and 8p, reduced swede halves totalling 20 something pence, 2 bags of stir fry for 5p each, oh and I got a bag of lemons for 8p. I felt rather pleased with myself as all these items are needed on my meal plan! Got some hot cross buns, 6 for 8p a pack, got some for the freezer, good for snacks for the kids, and some croissants reduced to 2p per pack, only 2 left! Sorry to bore everyone with this, but I was so excited - hmm, think I need to get out more!

Was meant to have lunch with a friend yesterday but was too icky, so will rearrange, especially since she's picked me a whole load more apples!

Not much os planned today, nobody really wants to eat much, so will just get some soup on the go later, think the leeks in the garden might be ready to use, and that'll be about it.

Off to catch up now, hope everyone has a good day and hugs to all in need xx

    Mornin :hello:
It was really dull earlier but its brightened up a bit now, its nice and dry anyway. Havent done much up to now, just tidied up and had a shower.
I am waiting for OH to come back from the Docs, hopefully these pills will have worked fingers crossed.

Rzl just looked at the clip from the proms, you look fab and I agree with Kathy you have a lovely voice :D
N9eav good news on finding a job for OH and on the car passing its MOT :T

Donny-gal I know exactly what you mean about retirement, there are'nt enough hours in the day. I looked forward so much to it and when I finally did retire, both my Mum and MIL needed looking after, MIL has a carer twice a day now,so its washing, shopping and cleaning mainly, its just that its a 40min journey both ways. My Mum is very independant and insists on doing most things for herself but I do what I am allowed to do  Luckily she only lives 5mins away now in sheltered accommodation, which makes things a lot easier. We are so lucky to still have them both.

r.mac glad you feel a bit better today, enjoy your afternoon with the new club x

Penny-Pincher (((hugs))) take it easy and get plenty of rest x

Nelski OOOO what lovely cake stands ;) beats talking about spiders:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I wish OH would hurry up, he's been gone ages, I am getting worried now.
