    Haven't been Carol, sorry.

Keeley, blotted - hope you're both feeling better?

Got a dilema. Am hoping I'm pregnant (although, hand on heart, I don't 'feel' pregnant like I did last time) but am due to give blood next week and go out on a massive night at an awards do on Wednesday - so I'd like to have a drink (or 10). Strictly I'm not due until the end of next week, but if I can give blood I'd like to (I'm O Neg which is the generic blood group and I've just had another leaflet to say they've only a few days' of stocks left). I have the pregnancy tests upstairs and I can do this kind up to 4 days before I'm due. Should I just go ahead and do one? On the one hand I can't help thinking it might be a waste, on the other I'm desperate to know!

The sensible part of me says wait until the weekend, but I'm not sure if I can!! Arrgggh.

Potty training here today. Had to go out to fat club first thing and when we got back she was dry and did a big wee on her potty. She was so tired I put her straight to bed. When she gets up from her nap I'll be taking off the puul-up pants and letting her run around with just a skirt on. Wish me luck!

I'd be inclined to take the test. I tested 4 days before I was due (but I felt pregnant) and it was positive, tested on the Monday wasn't due until the Friday.

I used one of the digital first response ones.

Good luck with the poppy training :)

Lu, if I were you I'd probably wait until the morning of the blood donation day and then do the test first thing in the morning (because - as I'm sure you know - the chemicals are more concentrated first thing in the morning so you're less likely to get a false negative).

Thanks girls. I think I might wait until tomorrow morning as a compromise. Then I can do the test first thing and have the best chance of getting an accurate response.

Right, monster's up and demanding beans and sausage for lunch. So I'd better go and make some jacket potatoes.

I meant, to have with the sausage and beans :rotfl: She asked for it again at supper time, but we managed to persuade her that toast and jam was a better idea.

    Keeleykat, glad you're doing better.

Only one minor accident today, 3 wees and a poo in her potty :T :T Keep your fingers crossed we can keep it up tomorrow. I really want to get this cracked.
