  • Glad Izzy had fun ladybird! I can't wait to take Benjamin :D

Did you buy swim nappies? The only ones I have seen seem to start in bigger sizes...

Benjamin slept for 9 hours straight last night...nearly 2 hours this morning...and he has now been asleep for over 2 1/2 hours...what's that all about

Its funny isn't it how it seems as though you've always had them?

I'm going to take Eloise swimming on thursday I think for the first time, if I can find swim nappies small enough! She absolutely adores going in the bath, after we've washed her we let her out of her little chair and lay her in the water, she 'swims' from one end of the bath to the other, so swimming will either go down very well or she'll hate it cos its freezing!

its a bit of a hulk smash baby rage i think!! either that or he really didnt want his picture taken :rotfl: his hair seems to depend on the light, he was born with almost black hair and underneath it blonde is coming through which makes it look a bit red! but who knows, theres lots of gingers in my family so it might go yet!

Was thinking about whoever it was said she didn't bath her children every day, especially because of a tendency to eczema. Wondered if a routine of putting the moisturisers on would make a good part of a bedtime routine? Quiet and soothing, as long as they don't hate it! :rotfl:

I do rub cocoa butter in his skin morning and night anyway, he loves it.
He's been a little pickle tonight, woke at 2pm and has only just gone to sleep, he hasn't greeted for all them hours but he just wouldnt settle, on his own which isn't like him, maybe he was overtired.
thing is OH invited my neighbours and their 3 kids (inc twins) over to watch the footy so it was a bit mentalist till about 6pm.

Mel I've got a Loola, i love it because you can have it facing both ways and put the car seat on the wheels, with the loola footmuff (which is just like a mini sleeping bag, it pulls tight round their heads) it is really cosy and it looks great, its easy to push and the handles can be moved to 3 different positions, you can turn the swivel wheels on/off without bending down

However it is really heavy, and the shopping basket is neither use nor ornament because you can't get to it from where you are standing to push, when the baby is facing you, also because of the way the frame worksthe basket isn't really big enough. Its a fairly wide pram too.

I got mine cheap off ebay (£150 incl car seat) and i always intended to only use it for a few months til she was big enough for a buggy, but i have already started thinking about a buggy .

Millie asked me tonight if Vegetarian sausages are made out of vegetarians!
