And can we please stop talking so much, i know its inbuilt and part of our make up as females and mothers, but seriously, 3 pages in one afternoon, we'll be overtaking ourselves very soon!

She says, after typing a whole page to herself! :D:p

I must note Sami that Chris seems to be just eating the ham off the top of said salad :p, which is what Joseph would do. A few months ago my son would just eat the meat off the plate, a few weeks ago he went through a stage of just eating the greens, and this week it's just the potato . It's because he's a man isn't it? I snuck a lot of fruit into him this evening by leaving a box of raspberries on the table while he watched ITNG, he likes snacking and the lack of biscuits within reach....

  • DH has just come home, went to the loo and after a few mins came back down and said to me

    "you've had your hair cut"
    "You've remembered or you've noticed"
    "I remembered"
"It doesn't count if you don't notice, you remembered as i told you this morning......"
    "what's the difference?"

Please can someone tell him......... now we are on his and her's laptops and just passing comments. We need to sort ourselves out but i frankly need some help here (from him)!
  • Agutka I had at least 15 pages to comment on, 1 page is irrelevent!

Well, if it's irrelevant then I'll skip over that!! :rotfl: I am ashamed. I didn't go back that far, managed maybe three pages...

I have been wondering for ages now, how men are still alive. I'm now wondering how toddlers and men do not go extinct Grrrrr.

Your hair looks lovely btw... I guess :D

My DH never notices I've had my hair done, but woe betide me if I fail to notice when he's had his done! Luckily Olivia has inbuilt haircut radar and usually manages to warn me when she sees him coming out of the station. And yes we have to take him to and pick him up from the station even though it is only a 15 minute walk!!

That's the reason men survive...... WOMEN! :D

Bailey, I'm sure it looks lovely and I hope you're feeling ok. And all the best for a fast recovery agutka.

    Hiya!

    quick question

with a mothercare cot, do I need a mothercare mattress or can I get a cheaper one from somewhere? and if so, any tips on where is cheap?

I have used this company - it was much cheaper to get a really good quality mattress from them than it was from any high street place I tried:

    well!
    damn your duck pond!
    :p
You could always actually write your own letter to him, maybe enclose a naked photo:p

bailey - Why thank you :D I know I am blessed with the genes of my twiglet Daddy (I thank my lucky stars everyday that I have enough of his genes to counteract my mum's - everyone in her family is short n stumpy) I also get my thick straight hair from him too
Thanks for the sleep info - he is settling down with me on the sofa a bit the past few days so I'm thinking an hours nap every other day may work - he loves snuggling up with belly baby which is nice but sometimes bump doesn't play ball and keeps poking him:rotfl:

I'm sure bump will look just like his brother as all the 'H' men look the same!
Sometimes I get freaked out when OH will pull a face or have a certain expression and he looks just like his dad - makes me shudder and I can't let him touch me for a while afterwards :p

I do worry about him once he's older as he seems to have Daddy's good looks and Mummy's confidence, which I'm sure is a recipe for disaster

is the other wotsit ur thinking of PMSL? that is P myself laughing;)

Agutka - shhh :p he ate the salad but insists that meat should be consumed first - very MSE:cool:

Why do we do it?!

Ps. Curious George - are you the BF mentioned in the txting about Bob the Builder?
(who by the way I'm sure has had a drunken fumble at the Christmas do with Wendy) :p

Hiya - not sure if anyone has answered as i've just quickly scanned through. But, Tax Credits don't need any official info. I phoned to ask if i needed CHB stuff first, and they just took babies name and date of birth, and I got notification in the post a couple of days later.

Thats why it was so easy for that person a while back to be claiming tax credits for about 25 non-existant children!
They do if it is your first claim.

    Morning everyone :)

Elliot's now well and truely mastered rolling over front to back and back to front, and is now a right pain when it comes to changing his nappy! He won't keep still, he finds it hilarious to roll over and not let me get a new nappy on. In his cot, he now ends up all over the place....upside down, legs hanging out of cot.... etc etc... it's funny how ends up in some of the positions. The bonus is he rolls over and finds a toy to play with, so i don't need to rush to him as quickly in the morning :)

I can't believe how in the space of about two weeks he's done so much ie got a tooth, been sitting up properly by himself, rolling over every time (not just luck). He's growing up so quick, he's not really a baby anymore!

    keely.

I may be mad but if you knew me in real life you wouldnt have it any other way, it's part of my 'charm' :rotfl:
