Ladies, ladies, ladies! I can't keep up! I have to go to work, you know!!

Clothes pegs - I always hang pegs of the same colour on each item. That's just normal, isn't it? ;) Also Tom's birth certificate isn't creased as I sent it in an A4 envelope and presume I got it back in one as it's still pristine - I did the same with his passport application. Then again, my CDs are in alphabetical order - and chronological order if I have more then one CD by the same artist - and my books are separated in fiction and non-fiction and alphabetised by surname, then chronological when I have more than one book by the same order. It also really bugs me when I see poor punctuation and grammar, especially text talk but also when people use apostrophes when they don't need to (such as in plurals!) or write things like "could of" instead of "could have". Anal, who me?

just saw this on the pregnancy thread OMG!!!

    OMG - Macdonalds and Wotsits???

Baby weaning, I couldn't get Tom to take food for ages. He was at least 9 months before he actually took food other than breastmilk and I was back at work for over a month. Before that he just screwed up his mouth, closed his eyes and turned the other way. I finally got him to eat by giving finger foods and there was no looking back. He eats on and off all day long now and is forever foraging in the fridge emerging with yoghurt or fruit puree and looking hopeful!

OH is doing a family learning course at school tomorrow and Tom is going to try the creche for two hours. There's no way he's not going to scream the place down though! He's not very keen on going to people he doesn't know.

Huge excitement at school today as we got a signed photo of Ant and Dec in the post (not out of the blue - when I had Y5 and 6 at the end of last year I got them to write to celebrities in the last week). All the staff (and some parents) were fighting over it but it's currently residing in my laptop bag (alongside the signed David Tennant pic we got a couple of weeks ago) until I pass it onto the child who wrote to them.

    Well done Oz! :T:T

Wow, that was an essay and a half!

I was in Tesco once, and the people in front had a frozen pizza, chips, beer and sausage rolls and part paid with Healthy Start vouchers. I asked the cashier as I was curious, and she said Tesco take them on any type of food.

Sort of defeats the point of the vouchers, doesn't it?

I once tried to pay for a tesco shop with healthy start vouchers, the woman at the checkout actually went through the shopping list and added up how much the fruit, veg and milk came to before she would accept them...

Weezl, as long as the measurements are the same it doesn't matter where you buy your mattress from.
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

We pretty much always cook from scratch as (a) we're too tight to buy ready made stuff or takeaways and (b) I never think they taste that great anyway. We have a drawer full of recipes torn from magazines and while I can't say I enjoy cooking, luckily OH does so we take turns, depending who's in from work first. The kids are all good eaters and pretty much eat anything we serve but we have had several children for tea who "only eat chicken nuggets" or "only eat pizza" according to their parents. What, every night? We also have a child at school who only brings chocolate coated items in his pack lunch, despite the fact that they aren't supposed to bring chocolate at all. Apparently all he eats is chocolate, crisps and chips. He's a scrawny little thing as well but the rest of his family are, errm, fairly well padded.

Weaning didn't really make much difference to be honest, I think when they want to sleep they'll sleep :o Which doesn't help, sorry. What time do you put him to pbed at night just out of curiosity? I've recently been putting Elliot down a lot earlier then I used to, and it's actually helped him sleep better i think as he was over tired to begin with so we had a fight on our hands! :o

Well, I try and put him to bed 7ish,the problem is that he wakes up 45mins after thinking its just a nap. I then put him on the boobie to settle him back, this happens 3-4 times until about 10ish then he'll sleep til midnight and then every hour and half after.
I think some of it is to do with the medication he's on for his reflux. Bailey, did LOSEC make your LO's windy and constipated?

I do that with my CDs... i've not managed with the books yet though. I do try and have books by the same author together but that's it (books are harder as they are all different sizes, and our bookshelves are all different heights too!)

Managed to get Izzy to bed earlier tonight, so touch wood, will manage that bath tonight, after not getting one last night. Custard tart time first though - from the reduced bit in tescos as they go out of date today. I'm sure they will be fine till tomorrow though, or maybe we should just put up with hardship of 2 each to be on the safe side ;)
