Izzy likes cleaning too, which is ironic as I hate it! Shame she especially likes to clean windows and mirrors - all our doors have glass panes which means my house is just one big smeary mess of fingerprints and baby wipe smears.

:eek:how on earth do you cope? I used to have bum length hair when I was at primary school and then until I was about 20 it was bra strap length and it was soo heavy! I have it bob now coz I was getting terrible neck pain and was using a ton of shampoo a week :p
I used to dye it purple too (I was a goth in my teens LOL) it took 3 packs of dye! not at alll MSE:D

I manage fine! It's straight and easy to style. I usually fasten it back with a big slide at the back of my neck for work as it looks smarter than a ponytail and tidier than loose hair. If I've got time, I sometimes straighten it or make it wavy with a hot brush. It's twisted up in a rough french pleat today as I'm going to start painting soon.

Never really had short hair. Had a rebel moment aged 13 and got it shaved short round the back and short and spiky on top, but hated it as soon as it was done and let it grow back. Then got it chopped into a chin length bob when I was about 17 but hated that too and let it grow back again. The rest of my life it's been shoulder length or longer.

Busy busy morning. Had a flat pack bookcase so Charlotte and me have built that. She's gone to bed now, so I'm just having a quick cuppa with my feet up before getting the decorating stuff out.

Charlotte likes cleaning too. She got some of the ELC cleaning and kitchen stuff for Christmas, and she loves to "help".
Here I go again on my own....

We are always showered hair straightened (me) cutey plaits (millie) dressed in fit to be seen in clothes by 8.45 because of going to school but when it was just me and mil I had whole days when we didn't get dressed!

So just on the verge of being a yummy mummy but have spent all morning drinking tea round at one of my mummy friends houses so my house still looks like a bomb has hit it and its nearly time to pick her up again, definitely still in the slummy mummy camp!

Izzy loves watching the t, so long as there are loads of bright colours - she loves the news best of all. I bet that won't last!...
Chris still loves the news ;) intelligent children we have :D
I think its because the picture changes alot and they have the dramatic music he gets very excited and dances round when the music starts while shouting "I T Veee news I T Vee news!!!"

Those with girls or boys who like pink prams (like my son :))
My local tesco have a mamas and papas set with dolls pram, travel cot etc. half price, now £25 from £50 might be worth getting to sprinkle that magic dust on to send to santa ;)http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-1466.aspx

They had something I wanted to get for Chris, came home to look on t'internet to see if it was a good deal and now I can't for the life of me remember what it was! we're gonna go get him a cozy coupe 2mo though :jI wish I could fit in it - I always wanted one but never got it :(

  • LOL - when I was pregnant I kept telling people that I was going to have a baby who watched BBC News 24!!

My little boy is asleep in his hammock :T:T he went down awake and had a bit of a cry - I stood and swung (?) and rocked him for 10 minutes or so and off he went! He's been down for half an hour so far too! I am SO pleased!

As a bit of background we bought a hammock like this

instead of a moses basket and the little tinker decided he didn't like it much after the first week

Spoke too soon - he woke up after 40 mins whilst I was on the phone and before I pressed 'submit reply'
