  • I would love bum length hair but not if im gonna be grey by 30  I really fancy a perm (I know, I know!) but the only hairdressers who seem to say perms are a good idea are the ones in the old peoples salons. Surely a perm isnt that bad? Loads of people have lovely curly hair

I'm scared of perms:o I suppose its a question of how much you trust your hair dresser, I get on really well with mine and he tells me straight off if something I like would look crap:p

I think my baby is obsessed by housework. In the last half hour helped me empty the dishwasher and washing machine then (on his own) he's wiped the sofa, floor and doors with baby wipes. He's now pushing around his vaccuum cleaner and every time we go upstairs and we pass my vaccuum cleaner he shouts to get it out. I only wish the rest of the family were as keen!

Hair - mine was past bum length when i had DD, i suppose it was pretty long when i had DS too, ive never really had it cut...trimmed yeah, but never all cut off,
did have 10 inches off last summer though, OH nearly cried! lol
its still past bra strap length now...really needs something doing to it but even if i was brave enough for a choppy bob it would make my face look REALLY fat,
I love curly hair...but mine is too heavy to hold it, which has always made me sad :(
as for colour, i naturally have just about every colour between dark brown to light blonde in my hair including the occasional thick wiry black ones and thin brittle white ones,
theres little point having highlights! and it would take a massive patch of my hair going grey before anyone noticed :)

today we are sorting out stuff to take to the car boot tomorrow (we LOVE a boot sale!) but its now been made more difficult by us talking about the possibility of TTC late next year.... all that baby stuff now has to be saved just incase :):)

I should be doing a boot sale CG, but am too chicken. Instead am busy freecycling today. Decorated Izzy's bedroom during the easter hols and now am busy turning it into a ITNG room from the Winnie the Pooh nursery it's been for the past six years.... sniff, feeling a bit sad dismantling the cot and sorting out all the bedding, curtains etc but no more babies for me now so it might as well go......

My hair was way down to my bum, had it curled for my wedding but it had mostly dropped out by the time we had photos because of the weight! Just after christmas I had it all chopped up to shoulder length... Would of gone shorter but hubby was devastated as it was... And as for greys... Got my first one when Aimee was 2 weeks old, I was 24... spent the last five years plucking the stray ones out, but since I've been pregnant they seem to of multiplied... Far to many to pluck at now! Thankfully they're mostly under the top layer of hair so I'm ok unless it needs a wash and I'm forced to tie it up... Then I get a big white streak!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Tom will be 18 months when we travel. I envision lots of wandering up and down the plane! He doesn't sleep in the car so I can't hope that he'll sleep much on the plane. We do have a portable DVD player but he shows no interest at all in TV (and terrible mother that I am I do keep trying to get him to take notice of the TV - hoping for 5 minutes peace!).
I gave up on trying to get toddlers to sleep on a plane after a hellish flight to Mallorca last year.:o I think this was the only time ever I regretted not getting them used to sleeping on us! :o Mine were never good at sleeping anywhere else than cot or car, so a plane is out of the question. Just have to do lots of entertaining instead

As for TV, give it time. ;) Alex has just recently got into ITNG, although up until about 19 months he couldn't care less.

And speaking of boot sales, we so need to do one - and will be getting rid of all the baby stuff! I think... :o :rotfl:

Yes we will be getting rid of all the baby stuff!
  • Izzy loves watching the t, so long as there are loads of bright colours - she loves the news best of all. I bet that won't last!

Re nappies, it's definitely true that different ones suit diffferent babies. We didn't get along with pampers at all. We use huggies if they are on offer, and tescos if not. Asda have 140 pack of huggies for £10 at the mo btw. I've just bought a box and have at least another pack left over, so we should be able to get through all of them before she goes up to size 4. She is 14lb 7oz and these go up to 20lb, so at this rate that will take about 6 weeks!

We did a car boot the other week, took a load of elliot's things he'd outgorwn etc :o sold his swing and other stuff that was just gathering dust. Got a few of the more expensive clothes (gifts) to pop onto ebay though. Sad to get rid, but we can't keep everything in a two bed flat.

    keely.

ps-we've got a memory box for special things though-i'm not just getting rid of everything lol.
